Today’s More Color Monday color challenge features a monochromatic palette of pretty blues: Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Cloud Cover.

This card has lots of pretty details but is easy to put together.

Measurements:
BASE: Misty Moonlight CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Night of Navy CS: scraps for the word dies
Basic White CS: (2) 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1/2″ x 5 1/2″,
scrap for butterfly stamp/die
Cloud Cover CS: 1/2″ x 5 1/2″

Using a Blending brush and the Water & Dotted Lines Decorative Masks – brush the surface of the card base with Night of Navy ink in desired areas.

Die cut one of the Basic White layers with an Everyday Arches die.

Die cut the Cloud Cover and Basic White strips with one of the border dies from the Bordered in Beauty dies.

Die cut “just because” from the Words of Beauty dies in Night of Navy CS scraps.

Stamp the butterfly border from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set in Night of Navy ink, blend and die cut.

Stamp “it’s your birthday” on the lower edge of the Everyday Arches die in Night of Navy ink.

Blend the edges of the Everyday Arches die with Night of Navy ink and a blending brush.
Adhere the “Just Because” words above the stamped sentiment on the Everyday Arches die.
Stamp the butterfly from the Extraordinary Life stamp set in Night of Navy ink above the word dies.
Adhere the Everyday Arches die to the center of the card front.
Adhere the border dies to the bottom edge of the card and the Butterfly border die in between the Everyday Arches die and the bordered edge.
Add some Rhinestone embellishments to finish off this sweet monochromatic card!
