What a gift it is to live in a country where we are free to love and love and even disagree!

I am forever grateful that I was born in this great country – tomorrow as we celebrate 250 years of freedom I thought I would share a special fourth of July card with you all!

Measurements:
BASE: Real Red CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
DSP: 2″ x 2 1/8″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (4) strips 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
scraps for star dies and sentiment
Gold Foil: 1 1/2″ strip

Stamp the strips with Real Red ink and one of the designs from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set.
Emboss the 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.
Adhere a 2″ x 2 1/2″ rectangle of the blue B side of the Beautiful ordinary Life DSP to the top left hand corner of the embossed layer.
Die cut multiple stars from the Swirled Designs dies set and adhere to the DSP.
Adhere the red stripe strips to the embossed layer in a flag design. I left a space for the sentiment.
Stamp the Celebrating sentiment from the Currently Loving stamp set in Real Red ink and fussy cut it out.
Adhere the sentiment in the open space where the last stripe should go .

Die cut 250 from the Alphabet Al A Mode dies in Gold Foil and adhere to the bottom right-hand corner of the embossed layer.

Adhere that layer onto a Real Red base card.
Adhere Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems in matching gold to the card to finish off this patriotic card!
