I used a recent card sketch #129 and created a simple card from this sketch with the new August Product of the Month Specialty Paper called Glow of Harvest!

I wish you could see this paper in person it has a beautiful pearlized surface that glitters in the light!

Measurements:
BASE: Very Vanilla CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″, scrap for die, 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: 2″ x 5 1/4″

I embossed the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Very vanilla CS layer with the upcoming Softly Woven 3D embossing folder from the September-December 2026 catalog debuting next Tuesday, September 1st.
Adhere to the Very Vanilla CS base.
Adhere the 2″ x 5 1/4″ layer of DSP to the left-hand side of the card base.
I stamped the Thinking of You sentiment from the upcoming Thinking of You Bundle from the new catalog in Crumb Cake ink and blended the edges of the Spotlight on Nature circle die.

I added Antique pearls around the sentiment to finish off this easy card made special with this gorgeous pearlized specialty paper!

I had a shorter piece of DSP so I created the same card with this piece.
I cut two different patterns of the Glow of Harvest DSP into 1″ x 4″ strips and added every other pattern to the card front of a Cajun Craze card base.

I added a small piece of Golden Glow ribbon and adhered it under the sentiment strip using the Thinking of You stamp set in Golden Glow ink and blended with the same ink.

I added three 2026-2028 In Color Golden Glow dots to finish off this easy DSP card with coordinated flair.

My last sample uses the Thinking of You dies colored the inside with Calypso Coral ink and blending brush and adhered to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP and a Pecan Pie cardstock base. I fussy cut a white pumpkin from another pattern and popped that up under the die words. I finished this card off with more Antique Pearls!

Today’s More Color Monday is a SNEAK PEAK of the upcoming holiday catalog starting September 1st – the September through December 2026 catalog – it is packed full of Fall and Holiday sets as well as other fun sets and items – I cannot wait for you to get your hands on it! They will be available at my Open House next month and also to pick or mail!

This Dreamy Snowflakes bundle is delightful with a hybrid embossing folder and delicate snowflake dies the possibilities are endless.

Today’s More Color Monday color challenge features a set of two cool tone cards using Pretty peacock, Shaded Spruce and Azure Afternoon! I also used the upcoming Designer Series Paper Whispering Woods which is our annual GIVE BACK promotion – Small choices can make a BIG difference. With every purchase of Our Whispering Woods DSP Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to organizations that help spread Holiday cheer! An extra reason to feel great about your crafting!

Measurements:
BASE: Azure Afternoon CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″ then flip it 180
degrees so the small tab is on the right-hand
side
Basic White CS: (2) 4″ x 5 1/4″, 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
and a scrap piece
DSP: 1″ x 5 1/4″

Blend the three colors with blending brushes on one of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of Basic White CS. Then splatter by flicking the ink from the brush tip side of the Dark Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blends marker onto the blended paper.
For the first card I cut out all of the delicate snowflake dies and for the second card I stamped the trio of snowflakes in Pretty Peacock ink over the blended background and cut them out.
Score the base card at 1 1/4″ and 5 1/2″ and then turn 180 degrees so that the smaller tab is on the right-hand side.

Using the other 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layer stamp the snowflake border at the bottom of the layer in Pretty Peacock ink.

Stamp the six sided border in Azure Afternoon ink and then stamp the sentiment inside that.
Blend the surface with the three inks and die cut.
Emboss the surface with the hybrid embossing folder. Adhere to the center of the border stamped layer.
Cut one of the extra snowflakes and adhere to the lower edge.

Adhere to the inside center panel of the card base.

Adhere the Whispering Woods watercolor wash pattern to the outside of the smaller panel.
emboss the 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White CS layer in the hybrid Dreamy Snowflakes embossing folder and adhere to the outside left-hand side panel.
Adhere the snowflake die border to the left-hand side of the embossed layer.
Did you know that if you take a small dab of our “green glue” (Multi-Purpose glue) and allow it to dry it will become tacky to the touch and be a semi permanent glue that you can use as a fastening tool!

Here I added it to the tip of the sentiment banner to allow it to be the fastener to close the card!

Adhere and pop up the rest of the delicate snowflake dies on over the embossed layer.

Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment in the banner die and adhere over the gate fold edge.

The second card used the stamped and die cut snowflakes for a totally different look!

One of the coolest things about being a demonstrator is the friendships we make not only with new friends and customers but with other demonstrators!

On August 8th, demonstrators have the opportunity to gather virtually for a day of learning and papercrafting. We also were able to pre-order an upcoming November Online Exclusive suite called Painted Collage.

It is a fun whimsical collage style set with very fun and different Designer Series Paper with Painted images and drawn lines. it is modern and funky and different from anything in our current inventory and I was excited to try and create with the Notes of Collage Bundle.

I made two cards today for you:

Card #1:
BASE: Lemon Lime Twist CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1/2″ and 3/4″ strips,
scraps for die

Card #2
BASE: Lemon Lime Twist CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″, scraps for die
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″, 1/2″ and 3/4″ strips,
scraps for die

For card #1 base I stamped the irregular whimsical circle image in Lemon Lime Twist ink all over the card front.
I used the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic white layer and stamped the large leafy sprig in Lemon Lime Twist ink twice (one for each card) and die cut them out.
On July 2nd I posted a card that had a sentiment piece that was blended with a blending brush and Lemon Lime Twist ink and then water splattered with a water painter and tapped against a bone folder to spray water droplets over the surface of the paper. The water droplets “lift” the ink off the paper and make lighter spots everywhere the water touches the card stock.

I used all of the extra paper from those cards and cut strips from the die negative pieces.

I placed them long edge to long edge and stamped the artistic flourish in Hybrid Black ink. Keep them in order and eventually adhere them to the card front.

Die cut the leaf sprig from the Notes of Collage die set in Basic WhIte cardstock and adhere to the left-hand side of the card front.
I adhered the black inked flourish image alternating height: top strip adhered directly to the card and then the next strip underneath the top one adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals – continuing to alternate every other strip – flat and popped up.
Take an extra strip and stamp a sentiment from the Notes of Collage stamp set in Hybrid Black ink and pop it up with STampin’ Dimensionals on the top left-hand side of the card front.

Adhere embellishments and this first card is complete!

For card #2 I embossed the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layer with the 3D Fern & Flora embossing folder.

Adhere to the card front of card #2.

Adhere the leaf stamped die to the bottom right-hand side of the embossed layer and the strips to the upper left-hand corner.

Stamp a sentiment onto one of the extra strips and pop up on the bottom of the card.

Embellish and complete!

Today’s blog post is a simple fun camera card with pops of Poppy Parade red!

I got the Capturing Smiles bundle a while ago to use for both card making and scrapbooking and hadn’t used it yet so I tried out a card for you all today!

Today is also a sketch challenge #128!
Try your hand at this fun card sketch!

Measurements:
BASE: Poppy Parade CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: (2) 4″ x 5 1/4″, scraps for dies

Stamp multiple small camera images in Poppy Parade ink.
Stamp the large camera base image in basic Gray.
Stamp the open lens circle in Basic Gray and the inner lense image in poppy Parade.

Die cut all of the stamped images and one tag out of the scrap Basic White CS. Stamp the sentiment love this Smile in Poppy Parade ink inside the tag die cut.

Color the camera base image with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends markers.
Adhere the open Basic Gray die cut to the center of the camera base.
Emboss one of the Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ layers with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.

Adhere to the Poppy Parade cardstock base.

Adhere the Poppy Parade center shutter image on Stampin’ Dimensionals in the center of the Basic Gray open lense circle.
Adhere the camera base to the embossed layer on the card.
Adhere three smaller Poppy Parade camera images to the left hand side of the embossed layer.

Pop up the sentiment tag with ribbon or Real Red and White Twine through the tag hole over the larger camera image.

Adhere the last two smaller Poppy Parade camera images to the other 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layer and adhere to the inside of the card base.
Add three Sunset Sparkle sequins to the card to finish it off.

I love this little sketch so many possibilities for those little boxes to the right – stamped images or pieces of DSP…

Today’s More Color Monday card was the perfect Father’s Day card for my incredible husband – who is the best Father I know! He is a hard worker and has taught our boys the value of doing a job right, he is loving and kind and funny! He keeps us all laughing and has always shown our boys the true definition of being a forever partner. I am grateful for him and this special card was perfect! (I actually replaced the happy Birthday sentiment inside after I made it because I liked it so much and added the Happy Father’s Day sentiment from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set!

Double Z Fun Fold

Measurements:
BASE: Crumb Cake CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 1 3/4″, 3″, 7″ and 8 1/2″, 2 1/4″ x 4″
1 1/4″ x 4″, scraps for chair die and sentiment
Basic White CS: 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″
DSP: 3 3/4″ x 4″, 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Golden Glow CS: 4″ x 4″
Hydrangea Hue CS: 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

Score the base card and emboss the Crumb Cake layers with the Textured Tree ring 3D embossing folder. The smaller panel will be the left-hand side of the card.

Adhere the 2 1/4″ x 4″ piece to the larger end panel placing that on the right hand side of the card.

Adhere the 1 1/4″ x 4″ embossed layer to the small panel second from the right-hand side.

Stamp the Basic white layer and adhere to the 3 3/4″ x 4″ DSP and adhere to the center panel.

Adhere the 3 1/2″ square piece of DSP to the Hydrangea hue square and then to the Golden Glow square and adhere this to the front panel gluing only the side that goes on the panel.

TIP: I place my glue only on the panel leaving an 1/8″ border instead of gluing the piece you are attaching and then you will not get glue beyond where you want it!

Die cut the chair die from the Relaxing Waterside Bundle from an embossed piece of Crumb Cake CS. I used the Textured Tree Ring 3D embossing folder for a more realistic wood grain feel to the chair!
Adhere the chair die to the DSP on the front panel.
I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of the embossed paper and tore the edge, popped it up on dimensionals and added it to the front panel.
I added embellishments and a Golden Glow die cut of the cat-tails to the front panel.
I added another Golden Glow cat-tail die cut to the right-hand panel along with a couple of embellishments as well.
I stamped the seagulls on Hydrangea hue scraps and die cut a few to add to the skies on the card!
