This Wednesday post is later than usual I was busy yesterday and this morning helping my mom in her yard in Virginia and wanted to get back and take pictures of the cards in my studio before posting – it still made it on Wednesday though! This is a fun and different way to use your acrylic blocks to shape stamp!
I started with the Retiring 2019-2021 In Color Terracotta Tile ink (#150086) and cardstock (#150884) in a standard card size cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″, a Basic White cardstock (#159276)piece cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″, an acrylic “B” block (#117147) and Gold Metallic Pearls (#146282).
I stamped the “B” block directly into the ink pad and then stamped off on scratch paper to lighten the color a shade or two! I stamped first directly in the middle of the page and then one block on either side of the middle image.
Then I stamped the Leaf Image and the sentiment stamp from the Retiring Rooted In Nature stamp set (#146482) in each of the stamped off blocks.
I mounted this layer onto Terracotta Tile cardstock.
I added a few metallic pearls and a fun easy card using the acrylic block stamping technique!
