One of the reasons I love Stampin’ Up! still, more than 20 years later – is the colors! Vibrant and coordinating – they are the best! I loved the Rainbow Glimmer paper (#153056) when it came out in this year’s current catalog but I have to admit it was so pretty I hated to cut it up and waste one inch of it! So today is all about color and chopping up my paper!
I started with a 12″ x 2″ strip of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and die cut the Flower outline from the Perennials Petals Die set (#154321) from the January to June 2021 Mini catalog 6 times down the length of the strip, a 12″ x 12″ piece of Pacific Point from the 12 x 12 Brights collection (#147001), a half sheet of Basic White cardstock (#159276) 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, a scrap of basic white cardstock and one of the die cut flowers from the 2 x 12 inch strip. I gathered a rainbow of ink pads: Daffodil Delight (#147094), Mambo Melon (#147051), Granny Apple Green (#147095), Bermuda Bay (#147096), and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and set to work!
I have a sponge dauber for each of our 40 main colors and use this makeup container to hold them and labeled each color. Using the corresponding colors I sponged directly onto the sentiment stamp from the Ridiculously awesome stamp set (#152512) and fussy cut around the words.
I hope this rainbow of color inspired you to create something colorful!
Creating art one stamp at a time!
Happy Stampin’
Natalie
