Did you know that today is World Book Day?Besides crafting, stamping and scrapbooking – I love to read and listen to books! So what better thing to do but combine the two and create a bookmark fun fold card!

Measurements:
BASE: Shy Shamrock CS: 5 1/2″ x 11″
scored at 4 1/4″, 8 1/2″ and 10 3/4″
2″ x 5″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
scrap for the sentiment
DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1 3/4″ x 4 3/4″

Score the 5 1/2″ x 11″ Shy Shamrock base at 4 1/4″, 8 1/2″ and 10 3/4″.
Fold the card base in half at the 4 1/4″ score line then fold the 8 1/2″ score line back towards the middle score line.

Adhere the 4″ x 5 1/4″ DSP layer to the card front below the 2 1/2″ piece. Fold the 1/4″ score line into a mountain fold and place glue under the score line and along the bottom of the 2 1/2″ piece. Hold the 2 1/4″ piece until the glue sets.

Tie a ribbon around the left side of the card.

Stamp the “you’re a solid *****” sentiment
Stamp the “happy birthday” sentiment below the first sentiment.

Color the five stars with the Dark Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends marker.

Punch a hole in the top middle of the 1 3/4″” x 4 3/4″ DSP piece from the Hole Punch Assortment.

Cut a small piece of ribbon 3-4 inches, loop in the middle and put one edge through the hole punch.

Tape the ribbon on the back end of the DSP.
Adhere the DSP to the 2″ x 5″ Shy Shamrock cardstock piece. This is the bookmark for the card.

Stamp “this one’s for the books” sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic White paper.

Die cut around the sentiment with the Perennial Dies.

Pop up the sentiment die onto Stampin’ Dimensionals and place over the ribbon and part of the pocket.

Place the new 2025-2027 In Color Dots around the sentiment.
This card is perfect to celebrate the book lovers in your life.

Now go and create some art work of your very own – one stamp at a time.

Happy Stampin’
