This triple panel card is a fun way to mix and match our incredible Designer Series Papers – our concept artists at Stampin’ Up! are so good at coordination and the papers are no exception. The Specialty DSP featured on these following card samples come from the By The Bay Specialty 6″ x 6″ Designer Series paper and it is something special all right! Iridescent and Gold Foiling make one side of this double sided paper a stand out stunning addition to ANY project and the other side is just as pretty – it will have your head spinning with all of the possibilities!
The following picture is the card template for the DSP cutting: Start with 3 sheets of DSP cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″. Down the 5″ left side of the DSP layer measure and mark 1 1/4″ from the top and bottom. On the opposite 5″ side (the right side of the layer) mark 2″ from the top and 2″ from the bottom.
Place the top 1 1/4″ mark in the cutting groove of the Stampin’ Trimmer and place the top 2″ mark in the cutting groove as well. Cut from one mark across the DSP to the other top mark. Line up the bottom 1 1/4″ mark and the bottom 2″ mark and cut across the DSP. This will leave you with three pieces of each pattern a top, middle and bottom pieces. This is what the first sheet will look like cut apart.
Arrange the three sheets so that all three sections are a different pattern as shown below.
I stamped the Thank you for everything sentiment in Soft Suede ink and die cut with the Something Fancy Dies. Using Pool Party ink and a Blending Brush I added color diagonally down the center of the die.
Adhere a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake to the Pool Party card base.
I adhered the top section to a Crumb Cake 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer.
Adhere the bottom layer next as it is easier to line up the middle section after the top and bottom are already aligned and attached.
Adhere the middle section.
I popped up the sentiment die and added a flat adhesive-backed pearl to finish this first card!
