june swap cards

june swap cards

another fun set of swap cards have arrived and I am highlighting all of the cute work that some of my team and sideline demonstrators have been up to!

My first swap card share is from Andrea U and features a lovely In Color card using the Unbounded love bundle and the Perennial Postage dies in Pretty In Pink and Peach Pie cardstock, picking up the colors in the DSP used from the Unbounded Love 12″ x 12″ DSP!

Even the inside is decorated!
Robin C’s swap card used the Under the Moon stamp set for a lovely sunset sailing cruise card in hues of Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Azure Afternoon!
The next swap card is from Jennie T and used the Countryside Corners stamps and dies to create the focal point the dies are still available in the current catalog, and the Crafting with You stamp set for the flowers. The Countryside Inn DSP lends itself well to the cottage feel of this card!
Both Robyns decided to use the Under the Moon stamp set – so my downline Robyn made a clever fun fold to show the versatility of the Under the Moon stamp set. Showing day and night panels with alternating Country Woods DSP!
Carol S’s swap card used the Seaside Wishes in Pool Party and Calypso Coral tones! LOVE this set and this card!
Kathi D featured the Thoughtful Journey Suite on her swap card and I love the clean lines on this swap card. Using a die cut in Misty Moonlight to pull out the blue tones in the Thoughtful Journey DSP!
Veronica’s Spotlight on Nature swap card is mounted on a Smoky Slate base card with a layer of Petunia Pop and flowers and butterfly colored with coordinating Stampin’ Blends!
Lori V’s Sea Turtle card features the Deckled Circle die and the large and small turtle fussy cut on a Soft Sea Foam card base.
And our last swap card is our swap coordinator Denise W, who also picked out the Sea Turtle stamp set for her swap card! In hues of Pretty Peacock she used the bone folder to break the fibers of the Pretty Peacock extra layer to make a faux suede piece to go underneath the Sea Turtles stamps image!
Hope these swap cards gave you some ideas for your own creations – now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

may swap cards provide a lot of ideas

may swap cards provide a lot of ideas

May swap cards are in and full of great ideas with new stamp sets and bundles from the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

Come along with me and see all the great cards and ideas I received from my monthly demonstrator swap.

This first card is from my upline’s sister Denise W who organizing the swap every month – she picks themes, sends out reminders and addresses and does alot of work to make these swaps happen and I am so grateful because I love getting all of the new ideas and samples of sets I did not buy! Her card is super colorful and uses the Full of Life 6″ x 6″ DSP which is my favorite in the catalog and the one I wanted to win at OnStage! She combined this colorful paper with the adorable Sweet Pea stamp set, the Dotted Circles embossing folder, Iridescent Faceted Gems, the Iridescent White striped ribbon and the Modern Oval Punch. Such a cute card!

Lori V used the So Swirly embossing folder on Bubble Bath to create a fun background for this Attention Shoppers treat yourself card. The sentiment is popped up on the Nested Essentials die and surrounded by die cut outs from the stamp set!
Carol S’s swap card used both the Thoughtful Wishes and unbounded Love bundles and drew color inspiration from the Thoughtful Journeys DSP in Wild Wheat and Pretty Peacock dies, ink and embellishments. Love the colors on this one!
This swap card made by Veronica S uses a tri panel of Basic Beige and Country Lace DSP to break up the card front and bring interest to the background such an easy technique! She overlaid the tri-panel background with die cuts from the Country Flowers bundle and colored them with Stampin’ Blends! She embellished with Iridescent Foil Gems to finish off this sweet card!
Marie W’s swap card used analogous colors of cardstock from out Stampin’ up! color Wheel in Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Lemon Lime Twist – what a great and unexpected color combination! The Attention Shoppers bundle shines with this color coordination. She used the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder for the background and the Distressed tiles and DSP for the bags. She used the coordinating Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots and Peach Pie Bordered ribbon to tie it all together!
The next card was designed by my downline Robyn M. and she did such a great job with her double panel Z fold card using the Country Flowers stamp set and colored it beautifully with Stampin’ Blends markers coordinating it with the Country Woods DSP in the background!
Lyn L’s swap card features the Stippled Roses stamp set stamped in Gorgeous Grape and cut apart and adhered to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock base. Just cutting the image into pieces provides interest and dimension to the project! She popped up the sentiment onto Stampin’ Dimensionals and added Rhinestones Basic Jewels to finish the card with a lot of sparkle!
Judy P’s swap card features the Thoughtful Journeys DSP, the Thoughtful Wishes bundle and the Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio and some upcoming Natural Tones Linen Thread to finish it off!
Susan W used the Eyelets 3D embossing folder on Basic Black cardstock as the background for the card base and embossed with Versamark and clear embossing powder the Leaf Collection Background stamp for a shiny tone on tone focal point for the card. She stamped and popped up the So Sincere sentiment onto the Unbounded Beauty DSP and cut it out and it’s matte from the Perennial Postage dies to finish off a stunning, contrasting card!
Robin C’s card uses 1″ x 4″ strips of Unbounded Beauty DSP embossed with the Eyelet 3D embossing folder on a z fold Basic Black card base, in color shimmer gems and a lovely die cut sentiment piece from the Unbounded Love Bundle finish the card off nicely!
I love Kathi D’s swap card using the Lily Pond Lane suite of products to produce a peek-a-boo window of lily pads and cat-tails with the Thoughtful Journeys DSP in the background. The sentiment is die cut from the Deckled rectangles die set and popped up on a layer of Early Espresso. Such a great idea and color combination inspired again by our awesome DSP!
I hope these swap cards give you as much inspiration as they do for me!

Now it is your turn to go and create some art work of your very own – one stamp at a time!

simple stamping with designer series paper

simple stamping with designer series paper

Need a super simple card that still looks beautiful? Let our Designer Series Paper do ALL the work for you! Using just 1/16th of a sheet of 12″ x 12″ DSP you can make this simple and elegant card.

Measurements:
BASE: Summer Splash 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
scrap for sentiment die piece
DSP: (3) 1″ x 3″ pieces

Adhere the 3 pieces of DSP to the Basic White cardstock layer. Position the layer so that the 3″ sides of the DSP are adhered to the 3 1/4″ side leaving an 1/8″ on all sides. I find that it is best to adhere the outside pieces first and then place the middle piece evenly in between the outside pieces.

I stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card base.
Tie the Summer Splash Bordered coordinating ribbon into a knot around the DSP/Basic White layer.
Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of this piece and adhere to the upper center of the card front.
I die cut a scrap of Basic White cardstock with the large banner die from the Stylish Shapes die set and stamped the Happy Birthday in Summer Splash ink from the Unbounded Love bundle. This is a fabulous sentiment set with both inside and outside coordinating sentiments!
I popped up the die onto Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed it on the card front directly below the DSP piece.
I added In Color Shimmer Gems to finish the cards with coordinating sparkle!

Try this super easy card and send out some love to those you care about! Pick out your favorite DSP and go create some fun card – one stamp at a time!

unbounded beauty diagonal gate fold card

unbounded beauty diagonal gate fold card

Gate Fold cards are pretty cool and there are so many variations! This one is called a diagonal gate fold card and I used the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper to make this one!
One of the things I absolutely LOVE about our designer series paper (besides the fact that is the most gorgeous paper made) is that the A and B sides coordinate so well! Check out today’s project to see how easy things come together!

Measurements:
BASE: Petunia Pop 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece,
3″ x 4″ for front sentiment matte
Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4″ x 12″
scored at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″
2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ for front layer
Basic White scrap for sentiment die

Score the DSP at 2″, 4″, 8″, and 10″. Fold into a mountain fold at 2″, valley fold at 4″ and 8″ and mountain fold at 10″.
Focal piece

On the two side panels mark lightly with a pencil at 2″ from the top of the DSP on each side.
Place the 2″ pencil mark into the cutting track and angle the paper so the first score line is also in the track and cut a diagonal line from pencil mark to top of the paper at the score line.
Do this on each side.
Save the triangle pieces.
The top of the gate fold will show the exposed backside of the second panels where the triangular piece was cut away – it will look like this.
Switch the triangles and adhere to the opposite bottom corners.
Adhere the DSP piece to the Petunia Pop 1/4 sheet of cardstock as the base, making sure that the edges are an even amount.
Adhere the small DSP rectangle to the 3″ x 4″ petunia Pop cardstock matte.
From a Basic White cardstock scrap cut a die from the Unbounded Love die set and choose a sentiment (the sentiments from the coordinating set are awesome but I used a sentiment from Something Fancy because I have a niece graduating from Georgetown with a dual MBA and Law degree and this was made specifically for her! I also used the hatchmark image from the Spotlight on Nature for the edging of the sentiment piece then popped it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed it in the center of the DSP focal piece.
Place adhesive only on the back of the left hand side (if you adhere both sides the card will not open!)
Adhere to the center of the left hand panel.
I decided to add a pocket on the inside for a gift card or cash for the graduate!
I cut a scrap of Petunia Pop to 2″ x 3 7/8″ and adhered Tear-n-Tape to both sides and bottom.
I adhered the pocket to the bottom of the inside middle panel!
I took a scrap of the unbounded Love DSP and fussy cut the flowers from that small piece (use them all even the half flowers use them on the edges of the paper!)
I added three 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems to add a lovely sparkle for a well deserved celebration!!

Go make some art work of your very own for a happy celebration or just to let someone know that you are thinking of them – one stamp at a time!
