august swap cards

So last week was a blur – big events in our household and lots of activity! Therefore I was a stampin’ slacker and only got to post once – for that I apologize but although life remains busy and exciting I am now back to a relatively quieter house after 19 staying at the new lake house all weekend and 25 for dinner on Saturday! I loved every minute but I did miss posting and stamping for all of you!

Now that Fall is here I would like to schedule a time during the week to have stamp time with all my customers near and far and that will be set up soon so watch for the announcements and let me know if there are days of the week you would prefer!

August’s swap last month have been trickling in and sitting on my desk to post – all are from the current mini July to December 2022 catalog and I am excited to share the ideas and cards with you today!

This month’s swap is a critter card swap – any animals or insects in the current catalogs, hence critters! I don’t usually have a lot of “critter” stamps so mine was a butterfly card which I will post Wednesday!

Happy Fourth of July to all, we are finishing getting settled and entertaining our first guests in our new home as my youngest son hosts a week long graduation celebration with eight good friends. We are enjoying all the beautiful weather and watersports!

My first featured swap card from a New York demonstrator, Kathi D. and she used Perched in a Tree Bundle from the new mini catalog and thank you for your patience my customer catalogs are on their way – a little late due to my move.

The next card is a perfect example of stamps versatility this card uses the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set but no hedgehogs! Lynn L. also used the deer stamp from the Grassy Grove bundle.

fall and christmas swap cards

fall and christmas swap cards

Every month I participate in a sideline swap, it is one of the fun things about being a demonstrator. One of the ladies in my upline (those are the demonstrators in your direct line – the one that recruited you or a demonstrator that recruited her or her upline) I love participating in swaps for a number of different reasons:
1. Everyone is super creative and other demonstrators often create things very differently than I approach card making so it gives me new ideas and creative alternatives.
2. I do not and could not owe every stamp set! Although some days I want it all LOL! Swaps give me the opportunity to show my customers and website followers samples with stamp sets I do not personally own!
