Sorry for my absence last week I fully intended to get posts done and queued up for the week of our move but alas life got in the way so I am a little late with these posts! But the good news is I am getting unpacked and my temporary Stampin’ Office is well underway!!

This card today is a fun alternative to a standard A2 card and easy and fun!

Measurements:
BASE: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2
DSP: (2) 1 5/8″ x 5 1/4″
(2) 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
(1) 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White for card back: 2 1/4″ x5 1/4″
Sentiment mat: 2 5/8″ square
Sentiment piece in Basic White: 2 3/8″ square or
die cut

This stepped card starts with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of cardstock. I used Blackberry Bliss for the base of this sample. Score this piece at 1 7/8″, 3″, 5 1/2″ and 6 5/8″ on the 8 1/2″ side.

Adhere the 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White Cardstock to the center panel on the backsside of the card for a convenient place to write to your recipient!
Adhere both pieces of 1 5/8″ x 5 1/4″ to the outside front panels.
Adhere the two pieces of 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ DSP to the 1 1/4″ panels immediately inside the two outside panels just adhered.
Adhere the 2 1/4″ DSP piece to the center panel.
Stamp your sentiment on the Basic White Square and adhere to the Colored cardstock mat.
Pop up the sentiment on the center panel but make sure that you place the Stampin’ Dimensionals towards the center of the sentiment focal piece so you do not adhere to the outside panels.
This card stands on it’s own and makes a statement – an easy WOW card!

Hope this inspires you to go out and create some art of your own – even in the midst of a move crafting is welcome ME time! And I get to send my cards out and make someone else smile!

Happy Stampin’

Natalie
