We are Sale-a-bration simply stamping today folks easy and fun card using the Level One Sale-a-bration Rewards stamp set Friendly Seagulls. this fun and whimsical stamp set is perfect for a lake girl like me with loads of seagulls flying around here! This set has three gull images, four words and phrases images and five smaller images o f fish, shells, sand or pebbles, french fries and a flock of birds flying.

Measurements:
BASE: Crumb Cake CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″ inside
2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
Misty Moonlight CS: 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Forever Plaid DSP: 3/8″ x 5 1/2″

Emboss the front section of the base Crumb Cake card with the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder.
Adhere the Misty Moponlight CS layer to the top of the card base leaving about 1/2″ space from the fold.
I stamped the three seagull images across the 2 1/4″ Basic White layer in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and added the “I love you MORE than” sentiment above the seagulls on the left-hand side.
I started to color the wings in Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends markers.
Adhere the seagull layer to the Misty Moonlight layer on the card front.
Adhere the DSP strip below the Misty Moonlight layer as an accent piece.
I decided I wanted more color deviation in the wing stripes so I added a Basic Black strip in the middle of the wing next to the Smoky Slate colored edge of the wing.
I stamped the words French Fries in the center of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ inside layer in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and added the sleeve of fries image to the left-hand side and colored with Real Red and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
I adhered the layer on the inside of the card.
I added Daffodil Delight on the webbed feet and the beaks of the seagulls to finish coloring the birds.
Although I have a love-hate relationships with our lake birds (I love to watch them fly around and above the water I just hate the messes they tend to leave behind on the ground LOL)
I do think this stamp set is so much fun!

fruit salad sale-a-bration card

fruit salad sale-a-bration card

This simply stamped designer series paper card using a FREE pack of Designer Series Paper called Fruit Salad from our 2025 Sale-a-bration catalog. I made this card from layout #10 from the bottom of page 22 from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

Measurements:
BASE: Real Red CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
DSP: 3″ x 3″
Granny Apple Green CS: 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Basic White CS: 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

Take the uninked Craft Stampin’ Ink pad and a Tuxedo Black Momento ink refill and fill the uninked pad with ink refill until all of the pad is covered with black ink. I smooth the liquid into the pad with the back of a plastic spoon.
Stamp the “you make me smile” sentiment with the new ink pad in the center bottom of the card front.
Adhere the DSP square to the Granny Apple Green square and then the Basic White square.
Turn the layers over and add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and wrap the Silver and White Sheer Ribbon around the back of the layer.
Adhere the square layers above the sentiment on the card front and knot the ribbon over the layers.
Add a small Rhinestone Basic Jewel adjacent to the sentiment.

This simply stamped card made from card layout #10 from the annual catalog! Try making a simple card from one of the card layouts on page 22.

starry everyday arches card

starry everyday arches card

I decided to use some of the negative die cuts from past cards made with the Everyday Arches bundle from the most recent Online exclusives release and came up with this monochromatic card.

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Azure Afternoon CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Blueberry Bushel CS: 3 1/2″ x 5″
DSP: scrap for die cut

I use the negative space from the More Color Mondays Azure Afternoon from this past Monday. I die cut the matching size in Blueberry Bushel CS. I die cut the Azure Afternoon scrap two dies smaller than the Blueberry Bushel. I cut the DSP two smaller than the Azure Afternoon CS.

Emboss the card front with the Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder.

Adhere the largest negative die space to the card front and adhere the Blueberry Bushel die.
Stamp the stars on the upper portion of the Azure Afternoon layer with Azure Afternoon ink.

Photopolymer stamps can be manipulated and I flatten the curve of the “reach for the stars” sentiment from the Everyday Arches stamp set.
Stamp the “reach for the stars” sentiment in Blueberry Bushel on the outer edge of the die.

Adhere the smaller Azure Afternoon die inside the Blueberry Bushel die and then adhere the DSP in the center.
Adhere five Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish off this simply stamped card.

Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

fruit salad sale-a-bration thank you card

fruit salad sale-a-bration thank you card

There is nothing better than FREE stuff!
January and February Stampin’ Up!’s tradition sale called Sale-a-bration is in full swing!

Today’s card uses the Fruit Salad bright and cheery FREE Designer Series paper for a simple stamped card. I also used the To the Point punch with one of the two sets that coordinate with it called Bright Borders for the fun sentiment punch!

Measurements:
BASE: Coastal Cabana CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Granny Apple Green CS: 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
scrap for the punch
DSP: 3″ x 5 1/4″

I cut the 6″ x 6″ FREE sale-a-bration paper at 5 1/4″ on the bottom of the patterned paper and then in half at 3″ so I could make two cards with the 3″ x 5 1/4″ pieces!
I adhered the DSP to the Granny Apple Green CS layer.
I wrapped 8 inches of Silver and White Sheer ribbon around the DSP layer and adhered it to the center of the card front and tied it in a know above the DSP.
I stamped one of the borders from the Bright Borders stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on the coordinating cardstock and stamped the thank you sentiment in the middle of the border.
I punched the sentiment out with the To the Point coordinating punch.
I used a blending brush in the Granny Apple Green ink to burnish and color the edges of the punched out image.
I popped up the punch onto Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered it over the ribbon.
I finished the card off with Basic Rhinestone Jewels around the sentiment punch and love how the silver in the rhinestones pulls the silver from the ribbon and coordinates the embellishments together.

creating a simple sale-a-bration card

creating a simple sale-a-bration card

Have you ever REALLY looked at the bottom of page 22 in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog? There are 22 card layout samples and there is so much inspiration in these little blocks!

Today’s blog post is a very simple stamps, ink, paper card made with a sneak peak DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog available January 7th!
For those customers that received their catalogs in the mail on page 11 of the 2025 Sale-a-bration catalog you will see the 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ beautiful floral paper that you can earn for FREE with a $60 purchase.
I used the last layout design on page 22 and designed a simple stamping card with this DSP taking center stage! The awesome part of this card is that it uses a 4″ square so you could make 9 cards from one sheet of DSP. One pack of this FREE DSP could make 108 of these cards!

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
DSP: 4″ square cut diagonally

You will notice that if you look at the card layout on page 22 there are two squares and a sentiment strip in between. Now here is the fun part! You can take this layout as a springboard and tweek it – it is ONLY a starting point! I decided to use the Designer Series paper as the “two squares” and eliminate the extra rectangular layer.
You can cut the DSP square anyway you choose I started about an inch down from the top of the DSP and cut diagonally to just about 2/3 of the way down on the opposite side.
I laid the DSP pieces on the card front and positioning them so that the borders on the sides and top are even I lightly drew a pencil mark along the diagonal edges.
I then pushed the DSP away and in between the top and bottom pencil marks I stamped the sentiment and the flowers from a level two Sale-a-bration set called Heart Shaped Bundle (comes with stamps and coodinating dies! FREE with a $120 purchase) in Berry Burst ink.
I stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink around the floral images.
Adhere the top and bottom Designer Series paper pieces to the card front allowing the sentiment and floral stamped patterns to “peek” through the diagonal space in between them.
Wrap the white ribbon around the bottom front of the card edge and tie in a knot.

Such a fun and simple stamped card!

Look on page 22, pick out a layout and use it as a starting point for your card. Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
