more color mondays – real red, timid tiger, and lemon lolly

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge features a SNEAK PEAK debuting with tomorrow’s New Catalog release of the May – August 2026 catalog.

This Tuck and Reveal Fun Fold card is filled with color and contrast! The Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper builds color on this easy fun fold and the Black and White stamped and punched out butterflies from the All Aflutter Punch Bundle provide fun and easy contrast.

Measurements:
BASE: Real Red CS: 4 1/4″ x11″ scored at 5 1/2″
cut at 2 1/2″ from the card front, 3″ x 4 1/4″,
2 1/4″ square
Timid Tiger CS: 2 7/8″ x 4 1/8″
Lemon Lolly CS: 2 3/4″ x 4″, scrap for large
banner die from Stylish Shapes
DSP: 2 1/4″ 4″, 2 5/8″ x 3 7/8″, 2″ square
Basic White CS: scrap for punch, 4″ x 5 1/4″

Score your 4 1/4″ x 11″ Real Red cardstock at 5 1/2″ then cut 3″ off the front side of the card.

Save the cut portion for the front flap piece.

Adhere the 2 1/4″ x 4″ DSP layer top the front flap.
Take the 3″ piece cut off the card front and layer the Timid Tiger CS piece to the Real Red piece. Then adhere the Lemon Lolly CS layer to the Timid Tiger layer. Then adhere the 2 5/8″ DSP layer to the Lemon Lolly piece.
Adhere the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layer to the inside of the card.
Cut the 2 1/4″ Real red square in half diagonally and then 2″ DSP square in half diagonally as well. Adhere the DSP triangle to the Real red triangle.

Cut the larger Banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies set from the Lemon Lolly scrap.

Take a Basic White scrap and stamp the butterfly detail stamp twice from the All Aflutter in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and punch out the three butterfly arrays.

Turn over the DSP triangle and glue the bottom and side edges with thin strips of glue.
Adhere the DSP triangle to the lower right hand corner of the inside of the card. Allow to dry.
Lay the multi-layered DSP piece under the open triangle piece “tucked under” and then position the layer so it is evenly spaced on the card front.
Tear a 3M sticky note in half and stick the note right to the right edge of the front flap marking the area where the flap ends. TIP: Once you remove the DSP layer and turn over this piece – the sticky notes will indicate where it is safe to place the adhesive!
Now turn over that layer and place adhesive from the edge of the layer up to the sticky note line.
Turn the layer back over the line up the sticky notes to the edge of the front panel and then rub the area of adhesive to burnish the adhesive to the flap.
Remove the sticky notes. Now your cross flap is attached! This layer can now be tucked under the triangular piece to secure the card closed!
Tuck the cross flap under the triangle and then you can place the sentiment piece where it will not interfere with the tuck mechanism.

Pop up the sentiment banner and place on the cross flap.

Add your black and white punched butterflies to the card – I added three around the sentiment to the left and one on the triangle to the right!

I finished the card off the Lemon Lolly Array of Dots embellishments.

This is a very fun interactive fun fold – try the Tuck and Reveal fun fold with your stash – now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

Remember this is a SNEAK PEAK of tomorrow’s new catalog debut so the sneak peak items will not be listed in the photo links below because the catalog is not live to customers until tomorrow!

more color mondays – crushed curry, gorgeous grape and blueberry bushel – scenic coast sneak peak

more color mondays – crushed curry, gorgeous grape and blueberry bushel – scenic coast sneak peak

Well Stampin’ Up!’s done it again just when I think they cannot design more gorgeous papers – they come up with something like this!

It is one of those items that is so much better in person but I made a video which I will share of one of the 6″ x 6″ sheets to show you the shimmer on these pages!

The Scenic Coast Suite is right up my alley – it’s sunsets and water and boats – it cannot get any better for a lake girl like me!

This Easel card fun fold is so easy and makes a stand up display card for this stunning paper!

Measurements:
BASE: Gorgeous Grape CS: 4 1/2″ x 11″
scored at 1 1/2″ and 5 1/2″
Crushed Curry CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Blueberry Bushel CS: 1 1/4″ x 4″
DSP: 6″ x 6″ cut for desired part of design to
3 3/4″ x 5″, 1″ x 3 3/4″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside and scraps
for sentiment die cuts

Cut the DSP to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and mount on the Crushed Curry 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer.
Die cut the large banner from the Stylish Shapes die set from a Basic White scrap and stamp “wherever this note finds you…” in Gorgeous Grape ink and blend the edges with a blending brush and Gorgeous Grape ink for some added color!
Pop up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and place in the lower right-hand corner of the layers.
This Suite will be available May 5th to customers and it contains the prettiest sunset colored sequins.

I added three around the sentiment piece to finish off the front of the card.

I took one of the side pieces cut from the 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered it onto the Blueberry Bushel layer.

I cut a die from the Upcoming Online Exclusive Silly Old Bear Suite of products for the inside sentiment and blended the edges with a blending brush and Gorgeous Grape ink!

I popped up the inside sentiment piece in the center of the DSP/Blueberry Bushel layer.

Score the 4 1/4″ x 11″ at 1 1/2″ and 5 1/2″.

Adhere the Basic White 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer to the inside of the card base.

Then Adhere the Blueberry Bushel layer to the bottom of the Basic White layer.
Bend the 1 1/2″ score line to a mountain fold and then flatten the card base and add Stampin’ Seal + to the scored panel leaving about 1/8″ border.
Adhere the bottom third of the front Crushed Curry DSP layer to the bottom panel leaving an even border on the sides and bottom of the card.

The border around the whole outside of the card should be even (even thought the layer is only attached at the bottom you want to make sure that the layer is straight and even the entire way around.

Because the inside sentiment is popped up it provides a stopper for the easel portion of the card – I actually popped up the inside of the Blueberry Bushel layer so that the easel would rest above that layer so you could see the whole layer! You could use either the sentiment or the layer as a stopper.
Bend the score line inward and place it behind the elevated layer to create the stand up easel!

Viola! It stands independently for display and looks stunning! This is a great card for this paper – hope you try this fun fold with this stunning paper or stuff in your stash! No go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge features Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam.

Today’s card features a very fun and sparkly technique – dyed Wink of Stella.

scored at 5 1/2″
Soft Sea Foam CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Always keep your Wink of Stella pens even when they dry out. Put the black stopper back in and screw the pen top back in. Squeeze the tube to release the glitter inside onto a silicon mat. Squeeze one drop of ink refill onto the silicon mat. Mix the drop of ink refill with the glitter.

Cut the largest Spotlight of Nature dies in the Soft Sea Foam CS layer. Paint the edges of the die with the Soft Sea Foam tinted Wink of Stella glitter.

After painting the edges of the die place it back inside the layer.

Adhere the pink flowers to the Soft Sea Foam layer.

Mix more glitter from the Wink of Stella paint brush and a drop of Balmy Blue ink refill.

Paint the petals of the flower from the Gallery Bloom stamp bundle.

Paint the leaves with the Soft Sea Foam tinted Glitter.
Adhere the Pink flowers under the Balmy Blue flowers – pop up the blue flowers onto Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere the Pearls of Beauty around the card.

more color mondays – pool party, flirty flamingo and lemon lolly sneak peak

more color mondays – pool party, flirty flamingo and lemon lolly sneak peak

Oh so many fun new things coming around the corner! We are going to three total catalogs a year no more mini catalogs and lots of fun stuff in this first new catalog!

We are introducing new impressions dies and plate to have embossing make even more of an impact and WOW!

This More Color Mondays submission features a sneak peak at some of the awesome new products we will be featuring with this new catalog!

Susan Campfield, a fellow demonstrator in my side line hit her million dollars in sales this past sales year and got a design a new stamp set for part of her million dollar celebration! The Phrases and Frames came out of those design meetings she wanted a versatile sentiment set and Stampin’ Up! was looking for a set like that to introduce one of their newest products the Impressions Plate! Lucky Her that she gets to introduce this product with her million dollar bundle!

This is an easel card which is an adaptation of the ones that she demonstrated at OnStage a few weeks ago using her million dollar bundle plus the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series paper.

Measurements:
BASE: Pool Party CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″ and 2 1/8″, scrap for oval die
Lemon Lolly CS: (2) 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Take the Lemon Lolly CS layers and die cut 2 of the largest frame from the Phrases and Frames Dies.

Leave the paper die cut in the metal die and turn cut side up.

Make an Impression sandwich with the BASE Plate #1, the Thin Die Adapter #2 then place the die cut side up and lay the new Impressions Plate on top, add the #4 Embossing Plate and run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.

This puffs out the embossing making the design up out or stand out and is more defined.
Using the inside scrap from one of the die cuts in Lemon Lolly run the two smallest dies from the Phrases and Frames die set through the cutting setting with #1, #2 and two cutting plates #3s.
Run the larger frame of the two dies through the Impressions setting with #1, #2 then the die and paper cut side up, the Impressions Plate and then #4.
Cut the DSP to 3 3/8 X 4 3/4″.
Save the cut pieces.

Adhere the 3 3/8″ piece to a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock of 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″.
This will show when the card is in easel mode for a finished backside.

Place Stampin’ Seal + around the backside of the perimeter of the large frame.
Place the DSP and Flirty Flamingo l;ayer, DSP side up on the taped side of the frame.
Place Stampin’ Seal + and the backside of the second frame and place over the DSP layer matching up the outside edges of the frames so they match. This essentially seals the DSP inside two frames back to back that the frames are pretty sides outward.
Cut another second smallest frame out of Pool Party and just use the inside oval for the sentiment.

Stamp the Happy Anniversary wording from the Phrases and Frames sentiment set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Adhere to the left side of the DSP inside the larger frame. Pop up the Lemon Lolly frame around the wording.

Open the card base to the inside and stamp the complimentary inside sentiment for the Anniversary in Tuxedo Black Memento ink in the center of the inside of the card base.
Take the DSP piece that is 5 1/4″ in length and adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card base below the inside sentiment.
Stamp the sending you hugs in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the smallest oval from the Phrases and Frames die set.
Pop up the small oval on Stampin’ Dimensionals and place in the center of the DSP. This will be the stopper for the easel mechanism.
Adhere the lower half of the frame layer to the outmost panel of the card front.
Pop out a butterfly from the upcoming Floral Flight Accents – these are thick precut dies perfect for easy card making or accents in scrapbooking!

Adhere the frame layer to the right and below the sentiment frame.

Apply three Flirty Falmingo embellishments from the Array of Dots from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite of products to the card front.
If you bend the card at the score line this will create an easel effect and the card front will slide to the little oval stopper and rest as an easel for display!
This is what the card looks like from the side in the easel form! So much fun – I love easel cards they are impressive and easy and these new impressions dies have such great detail!

Try an easel card today and go create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
