holiday demonstrator swaps

This Demonstrator Swap was holiday themed and the cards and ideas are lovely!

Hope they inspire you as much as they did me!

This first card for our September swap features the whimsical stamp set Long Time No See which is an Online Exclusive with a long necked llama and a weiner dog to name a few of the adorable images in this set! Denise W. our fearless swap leader combined Cheery Cobbler ink and cardstock, Basic Beige and Basic White cardstock and the FUN Need for Tweed DSP to create this super cute card!

The next sample is a 3D fun fold card made by Lori V and uses the Traditions of Christmas DSP and the Damask Designs embossing folder for a stand alone and stand OUT WOW card!
The back side is just as pretty!
Veronica S’s swap card used the Ornamental Christmas stamp set, the sentiment is a clever masking from the Holly Jolly stamp set and the background is the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder for a fabulous coordinated look!
The next stunning holiday card comes from Michelle L and used the Peace on Earth Suite of products including the Glimmer paper for the star and the embossing folder and dies from the suite!
Blue and silver is always a stunning holiday combo and Kathi D used these colors with the Sentimental Framing dies and the Merry Christmas single stamp set heat embossed in Silver WOW powder!
Simple and elegant!
this fun shape card uses the Everyday Arches die set and the Joys of Joy bundle with a So Swirly background for a super fun card from Marie W.
Patty J sent a Swap card using the Traditions of Christmas DSP set on Pretty in Pink cardstock for a lovely non traditional Christmas card!
Don’t forget you can always decorate the Basic White envelopes too and Carol S’s swap card did just that coordinating her Pine Tree Trimmings tree image in Old Olive ink to match her lovely card!
This card from our August swap arrived after my last Swap post – this great fun fold from Robin C uses the gorgeous Seasons of Elegance DSP to enhance this angled tri fold fun fold card!
And my last swap card to inspire you is a simply stamped A Child is Born stamped image in Night of Navy ink on Cloud Cover cardstock with the Gorgeous Secret Sea Faux Linen ribbon under the sentiment piece from Kristen B!
This ribbon is awesome and does not show well online so glad I got to see it in person – it will be on my next order!

Hope these cards inspired your holiday card ideas! What will you be getting?
Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

July’s swap cards are from the upcoming September to December 2025 mini catalog and the Online Exclusives collection!

I always get great ideas from this amazing group of sister demonstrator swappers and love to show you all the fun ideas!

This first swap card is a fun fold card from Lori V. using the gorgeous DSP Seasons of Elegance Specialty Paper and the Jar of Joy stamp set. Isn’t this a special card! The back of the card contains a decorated Basic White layer for writing your message!

My second swap card comes from Marie W and uses the super cute Spooky Halloween bundle.
Using the large Spotlight on Nature die to make the moon and all the fun dies from the bundle to create this sweet Haloween scene!
Kathi D. made this elegant Peace on Earth card that uses the Glimmer paper from that Suite and the DSP, stamps and dies to make this lovely heartfelt card!
My next swap card is from Carol S and uses the Online Exclusive Charming Day bundle for this beautiful z-fold fun fold Birthday card! The Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots and Wink of Stella add a lot of sparkle to this finished project!
Denise W hosts this demonstrator swap each month and is such a wonderful host – organizing the participants and even sending out prizes for her downline! She used the Label Me Grateful Online Exclusive Bundle and the Country Woods paper to make a great Thanksgiving card or a masculine thank you!
This card was also from Denise W as a sweet thank you card for being a consistent swapper!
What a wonderful surprise to get happy mail!
Even demonstrators love happy mail!
She used the Impressions Abloom and the Layered Thoughts stamp set.
My last July Swap card is from Judith P. and used the Perfectly Pear suite of products and the Unbounded Love stamp set which is on the Last Chance List.

Hoping that these cards inspired you to create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

Reminder: Some of these are from the upcoming Mini Catalog sets and are not available until September so they will not appear in the photo list below!

creativity now fun

creativity now fun

Back on June 22nd, Stampin’ Up! hosted an event open to all demonstrators called Creativity Now. One of the objectives for this event was to have fun stamping virtually with other demonstrators from around the world and to give us a sneak peak into some of the new products and sets that would be coming in the upcoming September to December 2024 mini catalog!
One of my downline, Robyn joined me to watch the virtual broadcast and create all of the projects along with all of the guest demonstrator presenters!
The sneak peak set from the upcoming mini catalog is called Wintry Tree Tops Bundle and features a gorgeous set of wintry stamps and coordinating dies.
Join me in this sneak peak look at this great new set!
It is always fun to create but doing it with a friend is even better. Robyn and I listened to the presentations and crafted together and made all of the projects!
The first project shown below used the gorgeous frame die in Basic Grey as a background over a Misty Moonlight card base and colored in the bird stamp with watercolor pencils!
One of the Bonus projects used the Nests of Winter Suite collection DSP. We fussy cut out lovely birds from the upcoming Designer Series Paper called Nests of Winter and used the frame again but this time we cut the die out of Shaded Spruce cardstock for a totally different look!
It is hard to see in the photo but the crumb cake layer is embossed with the new Birch Wood 3D embossing folder and it adds so much to the background!
The next project shown features the double bird stamp also colored with watercolor pencils, die cut and layered onto Crumb Cake cardstock layer that is adhered to a Early Espresso card base.
This scalloped gift box was decorated with a smear of Metallic Enamel Effects Basics and then we added the sprigs in a wreath arrangement and we added Iridescent Pearls as the berries.
The second bonus card used some additional Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper as the background and the Wintry Sprigs in the foreground.
The last card I have to show you used the negative die of the frame as a mask! This created a unique background – I really like the way this mask created a great background from something many would just thrown away!
Creativity Now is a fun perk of being a demonstrator! Looking for a fun community? People to craft with? I would love to have you join us on the next creative retreat! If you would like to know anything about what we do and the many ways to do this art of papercrafting whether as a customer or a new team member do not hesitate to contact me for additional information.

Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
