more color mondays – barely blush, balmy blue and soft sea foam

I love this new Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper and apparently everyone else does too as of the end of this week it is back ordered but we have a new notification system so if you love these cards – put your email and name down to be notified as soon as they return!

I love black and white – something about the contrast that is just intoxicating – so striking!

This paper has so much possibility!

Measurements:
BASE: Barely Blush CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
DSP: 1″ x 5 1/2″, and scraps for the vases.
Balmy Blue CS: 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Soft Sea Foam CS: 2″ x 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: scrap strip for the sentiment

I gathered the Light and Dark Stampin’
Blends for all three colors in this challenge: Barely Blush, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam and colored an entire line of the vases from one of the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP.

I fussy cut some of the vases out to use on the cards.

I adhered the Balmy Blue strip under the bottom edge of the DSP strip and adhered both to the Soft Sea Foam layer. I adhered the three layers to the center of the card front.
I stamped the Basic White strip with a sentiment and Blended it with a Blending Brush and Barely Blush ink.
I piked out three vases and adhered them across the designer series paper and colored cardstock strip section alternating height.

I fussy cut some of the small flowers on the scraps of the opposite side of the vase DSP and adhered them to the bottom of the card front below the vases.

I adhered more little flower fussy cuts to the top edge of the card front.
I popped up the sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the vases.
I added two Barely Blush 2026-2028 In Color Dots embellishments to finish off the card with some coordinating soft pearlescent bling!

Try a soft color combination with your next stampin’ project – now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

Here is another card I made using these same More color Monday color challenge colors!
I used a new embossing folder in the background called Floral Spray 3D embossing folder also currently unavailable this was a popular item also! It will be back in stock soon if you have to have it!

Today’s blog post features a fabulous 3D fun fold called the Pop Up Book Fun Fold. The Silly Old Bear Suite – for me and many is a sentimental stroll down memory lane – this suite SOLD OUT during the Demonstrator Pre-order and SOLD OUT again on the first day of Customer Orders. If this is a Suite for you make sure that you use the “notify me” button so when it’s back in stock you will get a notification. This More Color Mondays Color Challenge looks great in shades of brown and gold!

This 3D Pop Up Book Fun Fold is a WOW fun fold and today I will teach you how to make this!

Measurements:
BASE: Basic Beige CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″, 4″ x 5 1/4″, (2) 2 3/8″ x 3″
DSP: 5 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ , with long edge at the top
scored at 4 1/8″
Pecan Pie CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″, (2) 2 1/2″ x 3 1/8″

With the short side of the DSP at the top of the Stampin’ Trimmer and the left edge at the 1″ mark cut from the 1″ mark on the clear ruler to the 7 1/4″.
Repeat this cut with the opposite side placer the opposite short side at the top of the Trimmer and place the edge of the paper at the 1″ mark on the right side of the cutting groove, cut from the 1″ to the 7 1/4″ marks on the clear ruler.

Then with the long side of the DSP at the top of the Trimmer and the left side of the DSP at the 1″ mark – score between the top and bottom cuts.

Then Score at 1 1/2″ in between the top and bottom cuts.

Repeat on the opposite side of the DSP.

With the long side of the DSP at the top of the Trimmer and at 2″ on the side score from the top edge of the DSP to the top cut line and from the bottom cut line down to the bottom edge of the DSP. (Only score above and below the cut lines for this score line)

Then fold the top section Valley-Mountain-Valley
middle score line V-M-V-M-V
and bottom scores V-M-V

Fold and burnish all score lines.

It will look like the photo below.

Fold the DSP and add Stampin’ Seal to the outside U shaped panel and attach to the left hand inside of the Basic Beige card base.
FOld the DSP again and place adhesive on gthe opposite U shaped panels on the other side of the DSP that is not attached to the card yet. Close the back side of the card base and rub on the back side of the card base to secure the DSP to the back inside of the card base.
Take the extra layer of Basic Beige and stamp the images for decoration.
Die cut the images.

Color the stamped images from the Silly Old Bear Suite with Petal Pink, Pecan Pie and Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends.

Take the extra layer of Pecan Pie CS and run it through the Stampin’ Cut and EMboss machine with the Hundred Acre Woods 3D embossing folder.
Adhere the embossed layer to the card front.
Pop up the sentiment die on the center of the card front and add Piglet popped up over the sentiment label.
Stamp the inside sentiment to one of the Basic Beige smaller layers and adhere the two Basic Beige smaller layers to the Pecan Pie layers.

Adhere the stamped and colored figures to the Basic Beige layers and adhere the Pecan Pie to the middle inside panels.

One of my favorite NEW products in the catalog are our NEW IN COLOR SHIMMER BRUSHES! They do not show well in these photos but the shimmer is stunning and I dressed up the stamped images with the Golden Glow Shimmer brush!

I adhered some metallic dots to the card front to finish off this great book fun fold.

Try this fold if you want to really WOW a special someone with you card making skills!

This card post was incomplete yesterday so I rewrote it today with all the photos that did not make the original post – sorry for the technical difficulties!

sneak peak – nature walk suite card

sneak peak – nature walk suite card

Today’s blog post is a gorgeous monochromatic SNEAK PEAK card from the Nature Walk Suite Collection of products and I didn’t even use half of the cool things in this Suite! This is a beautiful suite for Nature’s lovers and a great set for making masculine cards with ease!

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Pretty Peacock CS: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
for the leaf die
Vellum CS: 2″ x 5 1/4″, scrap for circle die
DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ 1 1/2″ x 4″

Using a Basic White BASE eliminates the need for an extra Basic White layer on the inside with darker colored cardstock colors.

I adhered the 4″ x 5 1/4″ DSP to the Pretty Peacock layer.

There is a very cool cross hatch patterned die in the Nature’s Symphony die set that cuts a pattern into the cardstock without totally cutting it off the cardstock layer. I die cut this patter into opposite corners of the 2″ x 51/4″ piece of vellum cardstock.

I adhered the 1 1/2″ piece of DSP to the front of the vellum and then I could add adhesive under the DSP to attach both pieces.

Attaching Vellum can be tricky because it is translucent. Because you can partially see through the material that means you usually can see the mode of adhesion too!

TIP: There are several ways around this!

1. Hiding the adhesive under non translucent paper attached to the vellum as I did in this example!
2. Hiding glue dots under wisely placed embellishments!
3. Adding Multipurpose liquid glue with a sponge or Q-tip to the entire back of the vellum
4. If you emboss vellum it creates a pattern and makes the vellum white and a little less translucent making it easier to hide adhesive as you will see I did to attach the sentiment piece!

Using a scrap of vellum stamp the sentiment from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink.
I die cut the leaf die from the Nature’s Symphony die set in Pretty Peacock cardstock and mounted it with glue to the right-hand side of the card.

I die cut a circle around the sentiment from the Spotlight on Nature dies and using a silicone mat I squeezed a dollop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto the silicone matte and applied glue around the embossed edges of the circle die where it is less likely to show and attached the die to the center of the card above the leaf die and DSP layer.

I used the Balmy Blue gingham ribbon – did you know you can take any light colored ribbon and color it with darker Stampin’ Blends?
I love this technique! You can color coordinate ribbon to any project with the coordinating Stampin’ Blend!
Place Tear-n-Tape on the lower back edges of the Pretty Peacock and wrap the colored ribbon around the front of the layer attaching it on the tape on the back of the Pretty Peacock layer.

Then glue the layer onto the card front.

Using the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends, color the Iridescent Pearls for a coordinated embellishment look!
I added five colored pearls to the card.

I added one larger and one small on either side of the sentiment piece and then added the last small one to the dot on the “i” in “smile”.

On this version I added the fifth pearl to the right of the sentiment end.

Which do you like better?

Try adding vellum to your cards for an elevated and elegant look – now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

august 2025 swap cards

august 2025 swap cards

Our August Demonstrator Swap cards are all in and they all feature new stamp collections from the September to December 2025 mini catalog and the newly released Online Exclusives that are Fall and Holiday themed!

And what gorgeous samples and ideas do I have to show you today!

My first swap card comes from CarrollAnn A. and uses the new Amber Autumn Bundle. It contains a lovely large die with a card size cut out of Fall Leaves – she die cut that in Crushed Curry and colored around the edges with Shaded Spruce ink and a blending brush and adhered it to a Pumpkin Pie base. She colored the pumpkin and squash focal piece with Stampin’ Blends markers and popped it and the sentiment up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a great Fall wishes card.

Ginger S’s swap card features the Fright Night bundle embossed and cut out on Timid Tiger CS and Basic Black CS. The image is heat embossed in black embossing powder for extra depth and dimension! This fun fold front flap card uses the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series paper and lots of fun extras – like the caldron cut out from the DSP!
Tractor and Co. Bundle was used to make Patty J’s swap card. The tractor is stamped and set on the Thoughtful journeys 6″ x 6″ DSP for a fabulous Fall scene.
My next demonstrator swap card is from My upline Denise W. and she used the Happy Place mini catalog stamp set.

She made a homemade rainbow pad using a wet wipe and Azure Afternoon, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Balmy Blue ink refills to ink up the Happy Stamp!

She used Azure Afternoon, Darling Duckling and Basic White cardstock, the So Swirly embossing folder and the Darling Duckling In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP for the “For You” sentiment strip.

My last Fall swap card came from Kathi D and features the Gathering Together Suite collection of products including the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series paper and great large fall foliage dies.
Judith P’s swap card is a gatefold fun fold card using the Jars of Joy bundle and the Traditions of Christmas DSP.
The Peaceful Garden Suite was used by Marie W and features a clever partial cut die in the center to make a small lift up card on a 1/4 sheet sized base!

The small branch that the dove is carrying is die cut from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper and the soft Cloud Cover layer is embossed with the coordinating Peaceful Greenery 3D embossing folder!

The Peaceful Garden Suite was used by Marie W and features a clever partial cut die in the center to make a small lift up card on a 1/4 sheet sized base!
Carol S’s Traditional Labels swap card is stunning in it’s traditional Red and Green dies that pop on the Traditional Wreath 3D embossing folder background in Basic White cardstock!
And my last sample is a swap card from Lori V featuring the Peaceful Garden Suite of products in gold foil with a coordinating heat embossed Peace on Earth in the center. The background is complimented with the gorgeous Seasons of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper and Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon!
Hope these demonstrator swap cards inspired you – now is the time to start those Christmas cards! It is so much nicer to receive a handmade card than a store bought one because it takes time and effort. For that reason it’s good to start early!

Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

extraordinary flora with love card

extraordinary flora with love card

Today’s card features the new Extraordinary Flora Bundle from pages 84-85 in the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. One main stamped image stamps 16 different flora images in one go and then a large coordinating die cuts them all out at once with a single run through of the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine! BRILLIANT!

Measurements:
BASE: Strawberry Slush CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″, 3 1/2″ x 5″ for die cutting
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″ , 3″ x 4″ for die cut,
4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ for stamping and die cutting

Stamp the large flora images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the 1/4 sheet of cardstock (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″)
Color the images with Stampin’ Blends: I used Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger, DArling Duckling, Lemon Lime Twist and Soft Sea Foam.
This die cuts all of the flora images at once!
Emboss the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layer with the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder.

Adhere to the Strawberry Slush card base.

Die cut the 3 1/2″ x 5″ piece of Strawberry Slush card stock and die cut with the second largest Textured Notes dies.

Wrap the Strawberry Slush ribbon around the die cut cardstock and tie a knot.

Pop up this layer on Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to the middle of the embossed layer.

Take the small Basic White layer and die cut with the Everyday Arches die set and stamp in Strawberry Slush ink the With Love sentiment and the lines on the arched die cut.
Pop up this die with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere over the ribbon.
Arrange the floral dies around the arched die cut and when satisfied adhere down to the card. I tucked some under the arched die, adhered some directly on to it and then popped up one as well -this creates extra depth and dimension having the flowers at differing levels!
I added three Strawberry Slush 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls around the sentiment to finish off the card with a sparkly coordinated embellishment!

This is a fun bundle – try this soon! If you have a set with tiny images try arranging them around a die cut in various layers and levels to create some visual interest! No go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
