last onstage swap to share – fun fold #4 swap

last onstage swap to share – fun fold #4 swap

Well I saved the best for last – I participated in 4 specially organized swaps by my friend Michael D. at OnStage this past March in Long Beach, California. This was Fun Fold swap #4 and I love the ideas and diversity of the swap!

The first swap card I have to show you Ann O. used the Easter Basket stamp set which is on the LAST CHANCE LIST and still available as I wrote this yesterday! She used sweet pastel colors of Pretty in Pink and Balmy Blue for a pull out gift card design. She used our Take Your Pick tool’s crafter’s tips to perforate two of the edges for the outer holder. Such a cute design!

Lola R. made a Homemade Sweetness extended Z-fold using the Homemade Sweetness Suite of products and both the Made with Sweetness dies and the Filled with Sweetness bundle. Lots of lovely layers and detail!
My next swap example is from Judy K. and features the current Garden Poetry Suite of Products with the lovely Garden Poetry DSP and the embossing folder both inside and out which adds such depth and dimension, and I love the color combination of Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green.
My entry used the Swirled Designs Bundle and the Splash of Sparkles DSP with a slider card fun fold!
The next swap card is from Michelle R and is one of my favorite easy fun folds. You just cut the card front on half and twist it and use it as the matte for the top flap. Michelle used the Turtely-Cute Suite of products which is still available when I last checked but is on the LAST CHANCE LIST!
Easel cards are always a WOW for me and not difficult to make (check out the instructions on how to make one in my 11-19-2025 post “winter meadow easel card”) Yolanda N. featured the Beach Boardwalk DSP which is still current and the Boardwalk Fun Bundle which is unfortunately sold out! This card is so stinkin’ cute though!
Another Turtle-y Cute entry from Sandy R uses a little slider technique – open the door and you get a turtle-y surprise!
Joanne J. used a gorgeous palette of Old Olive and Basic Beige with the Discontinued Beautiful Gallery DSP and the sentiment is from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set for a Corner Tuck fun fold card. Just Lovely!
The new and very popular Delicate Dreams Suite of products was used by Robyn B. for this double box display fun fold card. This suite is so popular it is currently unavailable but expected back in stock shortly. Did you know that we added a feature on our shopping website that if the product is out of stock you can ask for an email notification when it returns! Sign up now to be notified if this suite is on your list – it’s on mine!

This card folds flat to send in a normal sized envelope but stands for display when opened! SO FUN!!

My last swap card is from Joy N. and features the Nature’s walk Suite Collection, the Nature’s walk DSP and the Nature’s Symphony Bundle. This Z-Fold Flap card will be highlighted in an upcoming blog post coming soon!
I hope these gave you inspiration to try a new fun fold soon they certainly inspired me!

Now it is your turn to go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

more color mondays – bubble bath, pretty in pink and secret sea

more color mondays – bubble bath, pretty in pink and secret sea

More Color Mondays today features Bubble Bath, Pretty in Pink and Secret Sea – in the Beach Boardwalk DSP pack there is a palm tree design which is super easy to make cards with – it has a border of palm trees on a bottom and top border – if you cut that page 5 1/4″ from the top and 5 1/4″ from the bottom edge you get two 12″ strips of palm trees – cut those again into 4″ pieces and you can make 6 of these cards from one sheet with paper from the middle to decorate the envelopes or the inside of the card!

Measurements:
BASE: Secret Sea CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: 4″ x 6″ cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ save the extra for
inside decoration
Bubble Bath CS: 1/2″ strip
Pretty in Pink CS: 1/2″ strip

Cut the DSP into 4″ x 6″ pieces and then cut 3/4″ off the 6″ side.

Score the base card at 5 1/2″, adhere the Basic White layer to the inside of the card and adhere the 3/4″ x 4″ strip to the bottom of the Basic White layer. I reversed the pattern and used the B side for the inside decor.

I stamped Fun in the Sun from the Beach Time scrapbooking set in Pretty in Pink ink on the Bubble Bath cardstock strip. I stamped the sun image at the end of the sentiment. I tore the right-hand edge and adhered that strip to the Pretty in Pink cardstock strip. I offset the strips and tore the right-hand edge of the bottom strip to match the one on top!

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the sentiment strips.

I adhered the DSP to the card front.

I then adhered the sentiment strip with Dimensionals over the DSP.

I added Pearlized Faceted Circles around the sentiment and this simple but awesome card is complete. When you have Designer Series Paper this nice it is so easy to make lovely cards!

Try a pack of our gorgeous DSP today and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time.

january demonstrator swap cards

january demonstrator swap cards

I love swapping with others and getting new ideas – it can be a different color combination, a unique fun fold or a stamp set I do not own but all of the new ideas that come in the mail are so much fun! Isn’t it fun to get happy mail in your postal box, not just bills? LOL

Today’s post was supposed to go out yesterday and I got waylaid with a million other projects which seems like the norm anymore! But better late than never seems to be my motto these days!

Today’s first card comes all the way from the midwest from Ginger S. and is a host of monochromatic blues on the outside with an Unbridled Beauty surprise on the inside! It uses the Allin a Row embossing folder and the Nature Walk DSP. She even stamped the envelope with a horse!

Patty J’s card is a lovely masculine card featuring the outgoing Last Chance stamp set Autumn Tree’s deer and the sentiment from the Nature’s Symphony stamp set. The DSP is a mix of Nature Walk and the Last Chance Timeless Plaid DSP.
This next card from Jeanne T is a lovely floral design made with Floral Charm DSP and the Beautifully Celebrated Bundle of products.
Denise W’s swap card features the Easter time Mix & Match ephemera pack, the Splash of Sparkles Specialty DSP and the Softest Spring Puffy Stickers for the floral embellishment. The Sentiment is from the Woolly Friends stamp set. Such a sweet card that comes together fast with the Mix & match pack.
The next three swaps are 3D fun folds and they deliver with a BANG!

The first uses the Nature’s Symphony Suite of products and an easel card fun fold with a 3M sticky pad to hold the easel upright such a cute desk calendar idea from Andrea U.

The second project uses the same DSP Nature Walk and the Exploring Nature stamp set for the sentiment, exposed Brick 3D embossing folder and Pressed Flower motif embellishments, Beautiful Motifs die set and a tearing technique for the sentiment piece from Marie W for a lovely gender neutral easel card fun fold!
This last 3D calendar card uses the Boardwalk Fun Bundle and the Beach Boardwalk DSP for a super fun and summer-y tent fold 3D project from Lori V.
The last card that I received is from Kathi D and uses my new favorite bundle – Rolling Waves for a gorgeous monochromatic card using a technique I detailed a layering circles card from November 17, 2025. Go back and learn how to make this fun technique! Rolling Waves is a pre-order for the new Online exclusives release so it will be available to order in March!

I really do love learning how to make new and beautiful cards and other’s ideas can elevate your own game! Hope I inspired you to try some different card making techniques! Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!

more color mondays – petunia pop, daffodil delight and strawberry slush

more color mondays – petunia pop, daffodil delight and strawberry slush

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge features the suite that debuts tomorrow on January 6th all of the great new projects become available in our new January to April 2026 mini catalog!

This sweet and whimsical fun fold card starts like a normally 4 1/4″ x 11″ card scored at 5 1/2″ but cut a little off one side and it allows you to see the inside of the card at a glance!

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″ cut 1 1/2″ off one side
DSP: 3″ x 4″ and 1 1/2″ x 4″
Strawberry Slush CS: 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Petunia Pop CS: 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
Daffodil Delight CS: 1/8″ x 4 1/4″

Cut 1 1/2″ off the left hand side of the 11″ length. Save that piece and cut for the sentiment piece.
Cut the DSP at 3″ x 4″ and 1 1/2″ x 4″ – adhere the 3″ piece to the upper flap, leaving an even 1/8″ border on the top and sides.
Adhere the 1 1/2″ piece to the inside bottom of the card leaving a 1/8″ border on the bottom and sides.
Adhere the Colored cardstock strips below the 3″ DSP piece so that they cover the white section completely.
Adhere the Daffodil Delight strip and stamp the sentiment in Petunia Pop Ink and blend with a blending brush and Daffodil Delight ink over the sentiment. Pop up the sentiment on the right-hand side of the strips.
The Beach Boardwalk Suite comes with these fun Puffy Stickers so I decided to add a few for the coordinating embellishments around the sentiment – a yellow sun and two dots.
This finishes the card with more whimsy and color and hopefully will bring some sunshine to someone’s day!

Now it’s your turn and go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
