standing fun fold card

This pop up fun fold has a few pieces but it is easy to put together and such a fun card to give and receive!

Measurements:
Base: Highland Heather 4 1/4″ x 11 cardstock scored at 4 1/4″, 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
Front: Marbleous Designer Series Paper: 1” x 4”
Inside:
Basic White (pop up insert): 8” x 8”, score at 4”
each way and use the cut out as scrap
Highland Heather: 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″
Designer Series Paper (left layer): 3″ x 3”
Designer Series Paper (pop up layer): 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, cut on diagonal
Highland Heather (pop up layer): 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, cut on diagonal

Score the base card and adhere between the two score lines to make a book binding card base. Stamp the front to decorate and adhere the 1″ x 4″ DSP to the book binding edge of the card base.

Add embellishments – used Pastel Pearls for this card – and ribbon – Gorgeous Grape Sheer ribbon used here, to finish off the front of this card.

Take the 8″ x 8″ piece of Basic white cardstock and score at 4″ then turn the paper 90 degrees and score at 4″ again. Cut out the upper left square of the cardstock. Save that piece to stamp on.

After removing the square, place the paper in the Stampin’ Trimmer and careful manuever the paper so that the point of the paper and the opposite corner are in the cutting track and score a diagonal line across the middle square.

In the square to the right of the cut out piece stamp the sentiment and any stamped image. Make sure that you stamp it so that the words will appear upright on the card. (see photo below)

Adhere the highland heather square and the Marbleous DSP square to the left hand side.

Cut the 3 1/2″ squares in half diagonally and using one of each triangle adhere to the middle square triangular sections.

Using the square cut out stamp the girl from the Sale-a-bration set Catching Butterflies and color in with Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut the image and add her to the left hand square.

Fold the squares in towards the center and score the middle square in a mountain formation.

With the center Basic white section closed add Stampin’ Seal Plus to the back square and add to the back of the cardbase.
