scenery three panel fun fold

Sometimes our designer series paper is too pretty to cut! Honestly I feel that way alot!! LOL! But there are some pieces of DSP that are scenic and cutting them apart loses the beauty of the picture as a whole scene!
I took inspiration from a past video from my sister side line demonstrator Rachel T. – thank you for always being so kind to share and teach!
She coined this fun fold the scenery 3 panel fun fold and here is my version using the Peaceful Place Designer Series paper that is on our current Last Chance promotion! If you love this gorgeous Black and White DSP as much as I do you will want to purchase this while supplies last! (#156394)
Measurements:
Scenic DSP 6″ x 5 1/4″ cut at 2 3/4″ and 1 1/8″
so you are left with three pieces 5 1/4″ tall
2 3/4″-1 1/8″ and 2 1/8″
base cardstock (I used Smokey Slate for this
example cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at
4 1/4″ and 1 1/2″
Contrasting cardstock (I used Basic White) cut
to 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″

Cut the DSP on the 6 inch side at 2 3/4″, then 1 1/8″ so you end up with 3 pieces (the last piece will measure 5 1/4″ x 2 1/8″.

Cut your base cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and score at 4 1/4″ and 1 1/2″. Then fold the card in half at the 4 1/4″ score mark and fold at the 1 1/2″ score line the opposite way as in a Z fold design.

Adhere the 2 1/8″ piece of DSP along the inside score line as shown in picture below making the border on the top and the bottom equal.

Next stamp your contrasting piece of 5 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ cardstock with a sentiment – I placed mine on the bottom half of the piece. and adhere it to the base cardstock to the right of the piece you just adhered. See photos below.

Fold the card closed and place adhesive on the front 1 1/2″ piece (but not all the way to the edges as there will be a small border around the DSP. Adhere the first piece of dsp – the 2 3/4″ piece to the front of the card so that the edges are even the whole way around and it covers the contrasting cardstock on the inside of the card as well.
