This is a simple fun fold card that you can make in a minute put is impressive with a surprise Z fold inside!
Measurements
Smoky Slate CS 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Simply Elegant DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″
Scraps of Basic Black and other DSP for the
front sentiment piece (size will vary
dependent upon the sentiment sizing)
Basic White 5 1/4″ x 8″ scored at 2″ and 4″
scrap piece of Cinnamon Cider cut to a triangle
shape 5 1/4″ wide at the base
Fold the Smoky Slate in half crease with your bone folder and adhere the Simply Elegant DSP to the card front. Pick a sentiment, stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White and mat the sentiment on Basic Black cardstock pop up on the card front.
Fold the Basic White cardstock in half with the open edge towards the left hand side and fold at the 2″ score line back towards the right hand side. crease the folds with your bone folder for crisp sharp edges. Adhere the 4 inch base to the back of the Smoky Slate card base and the Cinnamon Cider Triangle to the top of the 2″ fold after stamping a second sentiment if desired.
The triangle piece pulls out of the card as the surprise Z fold. There are so many possibilities with this card – just by changing the papers or the shape on the inside – cute , easy and fun card!
