Pretty Medallions (#158930) is one of the new background stamps in the current 2022-2023 Annual catalog. I have always loved the samples that I have seen from this stamp and have wanted to play with it. This is one of the cards and techniques I used when I first started playing with this background stamp.

This is a single A2 card base, I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock and ink.

When you stamp with a large format stamp, I find that the stamparatus gives you a solid platform to stamp again and again until you get the best stamped image! Stamp the background stamp in a tone on tone in the middle of the card base.

Adhere Tear N Tape to the upper and lower edges of the card front.
Remove the paper from the Tear N Tape and rub pieces of the gilded leafing over the adhesive surface until totally covered and no sticky surfaces remain.
Brush off excess with the brush from the embossing accessories kit.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink and sprinkle Gold Embossing powder all over the stamped image. Tap off the excess and then using a Heat Tool heat until the powder melts and then move to another area until all embossing powder is melted. I finished the card with the Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots for a little metallic bling!

Try this technique and create some art of your own – one stamp at a time!
