Using a mask both negative and positive side is a fun way to create a fun and easy background.

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Mask: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Using a Blending Brush, and Balmy Blue ink.
Punch a circle out of the mask layer.
Place the Layer over the card front.

Blend inside the circle punch out.
Remove the mask from the card front.
Stamp the Prairie Grass stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad to the left of the mask.
Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black memento ink over the mask.

Stamp the text stamp from the Elements of Text and the splatter images around the card creating a vintage look.

Place some embellishments around the card.

Now we will try the opposite masking.

Using the circle, brush with a Blending Brush outward with the Balmy Blue ink.
Stamp the same Prairie Grass image to the left of the mask. Stamp the sentiment over the mask. Place the embellishments around the sentiments.

Simple and elegant…

Try making a mask and creating a card with both the negative and positive shape! Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
