More Color Mondays with Boho Blue, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon I love this color combination – when I put it together I liked it a little but as I started to play with it I decided I liked it ALOT!

I started with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock and did a watercolor wash. If you haven’t done this before it is super easy. Add a drop or two of reinker to the top of your ink pad lid and using a waterpainter add water to the ink droplets and create a very wet palette to watercolor with. Paint areas of the cardstock until the entire or most of the cardstock is painted with overlapping color.

When using a punch that has multiple images I find that it is easier to create a template out of scrap cardstock and lay it down on the watercolored cardstock as to not waste paper.
I stamped the three flower detailed image in Boho Blue four times on the cardstock.
Using the Petal Park builder punch I punched out the flowers (notice even thought the watercolor paper looks messy the flowers are just a small piece of this paper and turn out lovely it surprises me every time!
I used a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock and scored it at 4 1/4″. I stamped the detailed leaf image all over the card front and adhered the flowers in patches directly to the card front as well as choose some to pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped a sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Pool Party ink on Pool Party cardstock and die cut with the medium Banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered the smaller banner to the larger die cut banner in Boho Blue cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered the Boho Blue banner. I added a Boho Blue Textured Ribbon underneath the banners and adhered it all to the card front in the middle of the flower clusters.
Such a fun color challenge if you try it make sure to post your work of art on my Facebook post from today Monday, May 15th, 2023 I would love to see your artwork. Remember you are an artist creating your artwork -one stamp at a time!

Happy Stampin’
