I’m Italian and never really ever celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day, so what do you do when you marry into a family that has an Irish side! You look for an outside the box way to make a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day card with the stamps and accessories that you already own. Thinking outside the box does not come naturally to some of us but if you look at things long enough and play around with the stamps and accessories that you do have you can get a lot more mileage out of them when they can be used for other things. I think we would all agree with that statement!
I always thought four leafed clovers looked like hearts and well I do own a heart punch so I looked through my stamps and the Sending Smiles stamp set had the perfect sentiment!

Measurements:
Base: Soft Sea foam 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Scrap Garden Green cardstock enough for four
heart punches
I punched four hearts from the Country Bouquet punch.

I cut a small strip out of the left over Garden Green cardstock and started to assemble the four leaf clover
Using Mini Glue dots or Stampin’ Seal I adhered the tips of the hearts to the small strip.
Emboss in the Basics 3D embossing folder that has the cross hatch pattern. Make sure there is no adhesive showing on the back side, if so cover the adhesive with a piece of scrap paper.
Fold the Soft Sea Foam card in half and adhere the four leaf clover to the center top third of the card front.
Using Garden Green ink add the Sending Sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set.

Stamp the statement “all the good luck your way” below the Sending stamp and add 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.
Add Parakeet Party Metallic Ribbon to the card and a simple out of the box St. Patrick’s Day card from hearts is finished!
Think out side of the box – look at the stamps you own and see what type of out of the box adventures you can have! Now go and create outside of the box with your stamps – one stamp at a time!
Happy Stampin’ and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
