Here I paired it as the background for this Christmas to Remember Holiday card!
I cut the Evening Evergreen base cardstock (#155574) to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored and folded it in half at the 4 1/4″ mark. I layered a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (#156629)
Next came the die cutting and for this card there was a bunch of it but it was so worth it! I started with Crumb Cake Cardstock (#120953) for the pinecone bases – I cut three large and 5 small pinecone bases.
Next I die cut the top detail layer die for the pine cones in Soft Suede cardstock (#1115318)
Next using our Multi-Purpose Glue I glued the two layers together
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of each one (#104430).
Using the lighter colored cardstock – Soft Succulent (#155776) for the base of the fir branches die
I used the Evening Evergreen for the detailed fir branch die and for these more detailed dies it helps to use the Take your Pick tool (#144107) with the Brush head attachment on page 153 in the annual catalog (#149655) and it comes with 2 foam pads that are 7″ x 4 1/2″.
I adhered the two layers together of fir branches and added the pinecones on top.
Wen all of the pine cones were attached I added the entire layer to the Be Dazzled layer with glue dots for extra sticking power!
I added a merry christmas sentiment stamped in Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and punched the ends with the pointed end of the Banners Pick a punch (#153608) and popped the sentiment piece up on dimensionals! The dots are from the Christmas Season photopolymer set (#156293) which also comes in a bundle and coordinates with the Christmas to Remember bundle! Love it all use one number to order the coordinating paper – Painted Christmas DSP (156292) , both dies both stamp sets and the most gorgeous Christmas ribbon in Cherry Cobbler and gold metallic threads interwoven into it (#156312). There are also little fabric gold holly leaves as embellishments (#156311) but the best part is ONE NUMBER gets it all (#156274) The Painted Christmas Suite Collection.
