Today’s card features the September Product of the Month paper the Luxe Foliage Specialty paper and this can elevate any card into something special!

With it’s gold foil details it sparkles and shines and makes this card extra special!

Measurements:
BASE: Secret Sea CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″, 4″ x 5 1/4″ for hot foiling
Basic White CS: (2) 4″ x 5 1/4″ layers
Gold Foil: 3 1/4″ square
DSP: 3″ square

Take one of the Basic White CS layers and emboss with the Sunflower 3D embossing folder.
Adhere the plain Basic White layer to the inside of the Secret Sea cardstock – I always add a Basic White layer to the inside of my dark colored cardstock bases.
Adhere the embossed layer to the front of th card base.
Here is a paper saving technique – I HATE WASTING ANYTHING especially gorgeous paper and the foils are no exception! So I die cut a smaller square to use later this will be covered up by the Luxe Foliage specialty paper and will be behind it so no one will be the wiser!
Adhere the Luxe Foliage 3″ square to the Gold Foil 3 1/4″ square.

Adhere to the top center of the embossed layer on the card front.

I used the Hot Foil System and the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies to create lots of shiny sentiments on Secret Sea cardstock to match the card! Now I have loads of card sentiments to choose from!

I also did the reverse die technique so nothing goes to waste!

I added the sentiment to the lower right-hand side and added two Gold Adhesive-backed Dots for a coordinated sparkle!

I love this technique and I have shown it multiple times but somehow die cutting it into leaves hits differently! These leaves are stunning and the varigation of color that this technique produces is just awesome!

Follow along today to see how this technique is accomplished!

Measurements:
BASE: Calypso Coral CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″, scraps for blending
technique, 1 1/4″ x 4″ for sentiment

Take a scrap piece of Basic White CS and using a glass matte surface choose three Fall colors to blend with blending brushes.

I started with Cherry Cobbler ink and a dedicated Blending Brush for that color – in a circular motion starting off the paper and transitioning on I blended two edges with this ink.

Next I blended Pumpkin Pie ink with a dedicated blending brush in other spots on this cardstock.
I filled in any of the white space with the last color Calypso Coral and went over any of the other colors to blend and increase hue if necessary.
Using a Water Painter I squeezed water into a puddle on the glass to the side of the paper and dipping the brush into the puddle I tapped water droplets onto the cardstock.

I dabbed off the excess and dried the paper with a Heat Tool – it is important that the cardstock be TOTALLY DRY prior to die cutting.
The Elegant Leaves are a delicate die with many thin strips the paper has to be dry before die cutting!

Die cut the Elegant Leaves dies from this blended background.

I blended the 1 1/4″ strip with the same three colors and then stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink over the background and cut the end at an angle for added interest.

I embossed the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White CS layer with the Rustic Check 3D embossing folder, wrapped the NEW Calypso Coral and Copper ribbon around the upper edge of the embossed layer and secured with Scotch tape on each end and adhered the layer to the Calypso Coral card base.
I popped up the sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the bottom left hand corner of the embossed layer.
I adhered the blended leaf dies around the sentiment piece tucking them under and over the sentiment.
I added Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems in Copper to coordinate with the ribbon around the sentiment piece to finish off the card with matching sparkle and shine!

You need to try this easy technique with the dies you have in your collection and see what you can create!

Here is another sample using another sentiment from the Lily of the Valley stamps set.
I dropped the next card right on top of one of my ink pads and got an ink splotch on the upper corner – I always say mistakes are creative opportunities so this sample got an extra die cut over the ribbon and ink splotch!
And finally the blended and water lifted paper was just to pretty not to use the negative – so here is a card made from the negative die space and the NEW Softly Woven 3D embossing folder as a background.

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge is getting us ready for Fall! The Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper was the inspiration for this Fall color combination of Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow!

And the card inspiration is a CASE from one of my favorite demonstrators, Susan S. this Triple Display Easel card is a fun and easy WOW fold!

Follow along for all the measurements and details!

Measurements:
BASE: Mossy Meadow CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 4 1/4″ and 10″
Cajun Craze CS: 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, scrap for die
Daffodil Delight CS: 1″ x 4 1/4″, 1 1/2″ x 5″, and
4″ x 5 1/4″, scrap for die
DSP: (2) 3/4″ x 4″, 4″ square
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″

Score the Mossy Meadow 4 1/4″ x 11″ base at
4 1/4″ and 10″.

Take the two Daffodil Delight layers and emboss them in the Sunflower 3D embossing folder.

Adhere the 4″ square DSP layer to the outside
4 1/4″ square panel.
Turn the base card over so the outside of the card is facing up and adhere one of the 3/4″ pieces of DSP to the top panel and the Basic White layer to the middle panel (which will be the back of the card!)
Die cut the Daffodil Delight scrap with the Spotlight on Nature second smallest die and then die cut the Cajun Craze scrap with the third die from the smallest the one that just has ridges no holes.

Stamp the sentiment “SO grateful FOR you” from the Lily of the Valley stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on the Daffodil Delight die.

Make cuts with the NEW detail scissors about every 1/4″ around the die ridges of the Cajun Craze die – crinkle the cuts to make them look like petals! Pop up the Daffodil Delight die onto the “petal -cut” Cajun Craze die.

Adhere the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Daffodil Delight 3D embossed layer to the inside middle panel.
Adhere the smaller Daffodil Delight embossed panel to the Cajun Craze matte layer. Popup the right side of the sentiment petal piece and adhere so the left side hangs over the Cajun Craze matte piece.

Adhere the embossed layer to the top folded panel – I left about 1/4″ surrounding the right and top sides.

Adhere the other 3/4″ DSP patterned paper to the Daffodil Delight matte piece
Pop it up on Stampin’ Dimensionals this will form the “kick-stand” for the easel portion of the card.
Open up the bottom panel of the card and adhere the DSP kickstand piece about 1/4″ above the bottom Mossy Meadow cardstock edge.

Then the easel will have a stopper to hold it up!

I added Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems to the sentiment flower piece in Copper to enhance the Fall Color theme!

I always love these Demonstrator Swap card posts because I get to show you all so many lovely projects and ideas! My group of friends and demonstrators that faithfully swap almost every month are some of the sweetest and most creative people and I LOVE getting to show off their work to you!

Today’s first card uses the Mosaic Garden Suite of products from the NEW September to December catalog and Carol S. uses the Softly Woven 3D EF in Hydrangea Hue CS, the Mosaic Garden DSP, the Tile Garden Bundle.

Kathi D made a sweet card using the Velvet Meadows DSP and the Sweet Words and Labels Bundle.
Kathi D. made another card for last month’s card using the Winter Adventure bundle and the Whispering Woods DSP with a very cool explosion fun fold.
This great masculine card from Jeanna T. features the Wrapped Greenery Bundle and the 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP.
Sharon S. made a fun fold card called the secret message slider which I detailed on my January 16th, 2026 blog post if you want to look back to see how this is made! She used the Violet Dreams DSP, the Shimmering Stripes Specialty paper and the Thinking of You bundle in hues of Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather!
Denise’s swap card uses the beautiful new Sunflower Fields DSP and the Radient Foils Specialty Paper with the Radiant Sunflowers bundle!
My last card to show you is a stunner from Lori V. but I do not know the official fun fold name it cobines the mechanics of a bendy card and an M fold card so I am calling it the M Fold Bendy card – ingenious right? LOL!!! Regardless of what you call it it is gorgeous! 33 years ago today I was in the hospital becoming a Mama. That beautiful baby boy now lives far away and a special card went in the mail this week to let him know how special he is! Handmade cards will do that – they let the receiver know that they are special enough that you sat down and made a card especially for them – designed just for them! It is a wonderful way to show people that you care and only ONE of the many reasons why I LOVE WHAT I DO!

Measurements:
BASE: Golden Glow CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scraps for
sentiment
Cajun Craze CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Early Espresso CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP: strips of
2 1/2″ x 12″

Die cut the word happy out of the Early Espresso and different strips of the August Product of the month.
Adhere the Early Espresso letters to the backs of the DSP Party Alphabet letters with them offset just a little.
Embos the 4″ x 5 1/4″ Cajun Craze layer with the Textured Tree Rings 3D embossing folder using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine with the #1 BASE Plate and the Embossing Plate #4.
I used A Family Celebration Online Exclusive stamp set and used an omitting technique.

Have you ever wanted to use just a portion of a sentiment? This technique is an easy way to omit a portion of the stamp. In this set there is a
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY
TO MY

stamp sentiment and I only wanted to use the block lettered birthday word and not the HAPPY or the TO MY so I placed scotch tape carefully over the words I wanted to omit.

Stamped the sentiment in the Early Espresso ink and then removed the tape – now only the word birthday is inked!
Stamp the BIRTHDAY word onto Golden Glow CS scrap and then stamp the “a very” in Early Espresso ink onto another scrap strip of Golden Glow CS.

Adhere the “a very” sentiment in the top elft-hand corner of the embossed layer.

Position the letters for HAPPY on the card front and start to adhere down deciding which letters to raise on Dimensionals and which to adhere down directly.

Finish adhering the letters to make the word HAPPY on the card front.
Pop up the Birthday sentiment piece over the Y in the HAPPY.
I adhered the new Gold Adhesive-backed Dots to the card and they work so well with the pearlized shimmer of the Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP!

This is a sweet and special Fall card for my first born Lehigh son in his school colors and a a great Fall theme for a September birthday!

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge card is a gorgeous masculine Christmas card made from the Frosted Pinecones bundle and these dies are just stunning! They do all the work on this card!

Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow and Early Espresso pair well together for an elegant card that anyone would love to receive! This card follows my Card Sketch #133 also!

Run one of the Basic White CS layers through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine with the Textured Tree Ring 3D embossing folder in between the BASE #1 plate and the Embossing Plate #4.

Adhere to the Mossy Meadow Cardstock base.

Adhere the second Basic White CS layer to the inside of the card.

Die cut the large and small pinecone mattes out of the Pecan Pie CS scraps.

Die cut the detailed pinecone dies out of the Early Espresso CS.

Die cut the pine needles and the sentiment piece out of the Mossy Meadow CS scraps.

Adhere the Early Espresso detailed Pinecone dies atop the Pecan Pie mattes and then stamp the sentiment onto the Mossy Meadow label in Mossy Meadow ink.
Pop up the sentiment piece and the larger pinecone on Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhere the smaller pinecone in the center leaving the edges without glue so you can tuck the pine needle dies under all of the pinecones dies and sentiment.
Tuck the pine needle dies under both of the pinecones and sentiment and adhere them down with a little bit of multi-purpose glue.
Adhere the green Glossy Garden Dots to bring some coordinating shimmer to this awesome seasonal card!

I love this seasonal card – it is just perfect for so many things – my guy friends, my friends that celebrate the upcoming seasons a little differently than me and the ones that do celebrate Christmas as well!
