Last Night I hosted our Conneaut Lake Book Club at my new home, we had great fun and wonderful conversation about a great book! I created a fun and easy bookmark for all the members that came yesterday!
Measurements:
Assorted colors of cardstock –
cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
Basic White cardstock – for Brilliant Wings Dies
Cut the cardstock on the 5 1/2″ side at
1 13/16th – 3 times
Score at 4 1/4″ then at 1 1/4″ from each edge.

Die cut some of the Brilliant Wings dies.
Cut the die in half with your Paper Snips.
Using the Fine tip Glue pen glue, apply glue to the back side of the dies. Adhere each side of the butterfly to each side of the fold matching up the edges.
These are the colors I picked out for my bookmark gifts: Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Real Red and Gorgeous Grape. I burnished the score lines with a bone folder and adhered the two sides of the butterfly to each side of the 1 1/4″ scored spaces – lining up the body of the butterfly so that they line up perfectly and look like an uncut butterfly when inserted into your book!
Try this fun and easy bookmark project soon with the cardstock and dies you have on hand! Create some art of your own – one stamp or one die at a time!
Happy Stampin’
Natalie
