Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge features a new Online Exclusive Celebratory Sips Suite with two In Colors: Cloud Cover from the 2025-2027 collection and Pretty in Pink from last year’s 2024-2026 collection.

Measurements:
BASE: Blackberry Bliss CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Cloud Cover CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: 3 3/4″ x 5″ scraps for two glass die cuts
and umbrella

On the Basic White layer stamp two Blackberries on the lower right-hand corner in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Color the blackberries with the Light and Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends.
Adhere the Basic White layer on the inside of the Blackberry Bliss card base.
Stamp the “Let’s Celebrate” sentiment.
Adhere the DSP layer onto the Cloud Cover layer then adhere to the card front.
In the Celebratory Sips 12″ x 12″ DSP package there are several pieces of DSP that contain water colored squares and rectangles of gorgeous color. This is a great background pattern but can also be used to die cut drink glasses from – so fun!
I stamp the tall glass stamp image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the Pretty in Pink colored rectangle. I place the rectangle glass die and the embossed glass pattern inside and die cut the rectangle die on the Pretty in Pink colored rectangle leaving a small white space at the top.
Adhere the pink glass die cut onto the DSP layer.
Stamp the small line image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink touching the top of the pink liquid line and above the glass on the DSP.
Stamp the smaller glass image over one of the Blackberry Bliss colored squares on the DSP piece leaving a little white at the top of the glass image, stamp two blackberry images in the bottom of the glass and die cut the image.

Stamp the umbrella out of one of the other Pink rectangles and die cut it out.

Stamp the Cheers sentiment in the upper left hand are of the DSP layer on the card front.

Pop up the smaller glass and the umbrella and place on the card. The Umbrella over the stick in the pink glass and the smaller glass in front of the pink glass.

Add three Cloud Cover In Color Flat Pearls around the sentiment for coordinating sparkle!
I tied a ribbon from the suite called Gold Striped Mesh ribbon around the top of the card to finish off this fun card perfect for a fun celebration!

If you are an avid card maker like me than chances are you create a ton of paper scraps while creating! And if you are also like me you just KNOW that you can create something with those scraps, right?
I love this easy card because it uses a ton of the 1/4″ Basic White cardstock strips that I accumulate quickly when cutting my layers for my cards! I will also show you my method for organizing my paper and paper scraps using Stamp-n-Storage paper storage pockets

Basic Black CS: scraps for dies

This is how I organize my 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock.
Each cardstock color is labeled and has two different styles of pockets the 8 1/2″ x 11″ WHOLE cardstock is stored in 8.5×11 Landscape Paper Pockets (actual size: 11-5/8″ x 9-5/8″) so I can easily slip whole sheets of cardstock out the side.
Each Package contains 15 pockets and costs $21.75 making them an economical $1.45 each
When I cut sheets of cardstock and have scraps left over I put them in the
8.5×11 Portrait Paper Pockets (actual size: 9-1/4″ x 12-1/4″)
the opening for these pockets are located on the top and keep the scraps from falling out!
8.5×11 Landscape (actual size: 11-5/8″ x 9-5/8″)
which I turn on it’s side so the opening is facing outward and I put my whole sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ pieces of cardstock in these.
8.5×11 Portrait Paper Pocket (actual size: 9-1/4″ x 12-1/4″) which I use for my paper scraps.
So what do you do with all those scraps? Well we use them to make more cards of course!

This technique uses similarly cut strip scraps.
When I cut my 4″ x 5 1/4″ Basic White layers I end up with 1/4″ left over strips!

If you take and glue these strips together you get a sturdy dimensional strip – I used three strips glued together to give the strip enough dimension to add depth and shadow to these cards!

Glue multiple strips together after you have a bunch of strips 3 high glued together – make a pattern on a Basic White cardstock BASE.

I used a 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base scored at 5 1/2″
I started gluing one of the strips on a diagonal.

I followed the diagonal of the first strip and glued more on base card.
Die cut some of your detailed dies in Basic Black cardstock and glue the die over the diagonal strips.
For this card I used the Memorable Blooms bundle – for the die and the sentiment.
You can place the strips in different directions and glue different dies on for a totally different look!
This card uses the foliage stem die from the Memorable Blooms die set.
This card uses the Beautiful Butterflies bundle for a stunning birthday card also in black and white!
You can also add a colored cardstock die cut atop the strip scraps for a different look.

This card uses 1/8″ strips 3 deep and attached straight across the card instead of diagonal.
I added leftovers from previous cards that were on my desk to add a pop of colors from Everyday Arches dies and Beautiful Butterflies bundle!

What a great way to use up scraps and add simple dimension to your cards – try this great technique with your scraps and see what artwork you can create of your very own – one stamp at a time – one scrap at a time!!

Who doesn’t like fun folds? It is one of the most fun types of cards to make – some take a little extra time and materials but they are so worth it!
The Double Z Fold card is a fairly simple design that any card maker can achieve! Try one out and see!

Measurements:
BASE: Garden Green CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
second z fold strip 1 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
DSP: 6″ x 6″ piece
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″ inside layer
scrap for sentiment die cut
Colored CS: scraps for Mini Alphabet dies

To best utilize your DSP I got all pieces needed out of ONE 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP – cut it this way!
If your paper is directional decide first how you want the direction to run and cut accordingly!
I wanted the watermelon stripes running up and down on the 2 1/2″ x 4″ pieces so I made sure to position the paper that way.
I cut two 1″ strips off the bottom of the paper.
Cut the 4″ x 6″ piece of DSP in (2) 2 1/2″ x 4″ pieces this left me with a 1″ x 4″ strip which I also used.
Cut the 1″ strips into (1) 1″ x 5 1/4″ and
(2) 1″ x 2 1/2″ strips.

Adhere the 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer to the inside of the 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base.
Adhere the 1″ x 4″ sttrip to the right-hand side of the Basic White layer I left a small border on the right-hand side.
Adhere the (2) 2 1/2″ x 4″ pieces of DSP onto the first two panels of the large base card.
Flip the smaller 1 1/4″ x 11″ piece so that the score lines are oppositely positioned from the large base card. (the larger panel will be adhered to the smaller front panel. This will make a difference if like my card your patterned paper is directional! I wanted my watermelon seeds to have the point side up so I made sure to position them accordingly before adhering onto the panels. Adhere the 1″ x 5 1/4″ strip to the larger left-hand side panel, then adhere the 1″ x 2 1/2″ strips to the two smaller panels on the right-hand side of the 1 1/4″ z-fold.
Match the edges of the smaller Z fold with the first small panel of the larger z fold base card and adhere the first 2 1/2″ portion of the 1″ x 5 1/4″ strip that will be attached to the card. **NOTE: if you put adhesive on the entire 5 1/4″ strip you will adhere the fun fold closed and it will not work because the adhesive will attach to the back of the smaller panel.**
Place adhesive on the back of the third smaller strip and close the card this will attach the smaller z-fold in the correct position.
I realized after I photographed this card that the die cut I grabbed out of my stash was from the retired Everyday Details die set but you can use the Stylish Shapes or Spotlight on Nature dies to get a similar look.
I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set and cut out the A from the “make a wish” sentiment.
I colored the die with a blending brush in Real Red before popping up the A on the die.
I used a Water Painter in Real Red ink and tapped it over the die cut piece with a bone folder to create a tone on tone splatter effect.
I adhered the circle die to the smaller front z-fold panel.
I took two pieces of Black twine from the Bakers Twine Essentials pack and tied a double bow and adhered it to the sentiment piece with a mini glue dot.
I had a bunch of letters die cut from a previous card in Melon Mambo and instead of wasting them I spelled out MELON and colored them with a blending brush in Real Red ink which gave them a depth of color and texture! Added BONUS!
I adhered the letter die cuts from the Mini Alphabet dies to the top of the second smaller z-fold panel.

I fussy cut three watermelon slices and adhered them to the inside panel of the z-fold and added Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs to finish off this fun fold card!

You do want to be conscious of the fact that some of the inside panel will be visible when the card front is closed so decorate accordingly!

Today’s blog post is all about FREE stuff! This heart shaped bundle card is made with two different FREE products. The level one Sale-a-bration DSP called Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper creates the die cut heart as the center focal point from the Heart Shaped bundle.

Measurements:
BASE: Blueberry Bushel CS: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Basic White CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: scrap for the heart die cut

This card uses the layout #14 from page 22 from the Annual Catalog.

Using a blending brush, brush a circular ink area with Blueberry Bushel ink in the upper center of the Basic White CS layer.
Grab a Water Painter and the Craft White ink pad and add water to the lid of the ink pad. Tap the brush on the edge of a bone folder over the Basic White CS layer and create a splatter pattern over the Blueberry Bushel ink spot.
Adhere the Basic White layer onto the Blueberry Bushel card base.
Die cut the heart outline die from the Heart Shaped bundle from the Bloom Impressions DSP.
Adhere the heart with glue over the Blueberry Bushel area.
Stamp the sentiment below the heart die.
Adhere three Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots around the sentiment in the Blueberry Bushel tones.

I love the little details of this simply stamped card – the white ink splattered color blended background, the DSP die cut heart as the focal point.

I decided to use some of the negative die cuts from past cards made with the Everyday Arches bundle from the most recent Online exclusives release and came up with this monochromatic card.

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS: 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Azure Afternoon CS: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Blueberry Bushel CS: 3 1/2″ x 5″
DSP: scrap for die cut

I use the negative space from the More Color Mondays Azure Afternoon from this past Monday. I die cut the matching size in Blueberry Bushel CS. I die cut the Azure Afternoon scrap two dies smaller than the Blueberry Bushel. I cut the DSP two smaller than the Azure Afternoon CS.

Emboss the card front with the Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder.

Adhere the largest negative die space to the card front and adhere the Blueberry Bushel die.
Stamp the stars on the upper portion of the Azure Afternoon layer with Azure Afternoon ink.

Photopolymer stamps can be manipulated and I flatten the curve of the “reach for the stars” sentiment from the Everyday Arches stamp set.
Stamp the “reach for the stars” sentiment in Blueberry Bushel on the outer edge of the die.

Adhere the smaller Azure Afternoon die inside the Blueberry Bushel die and then adhere the DSP in the center.
Adhere five Basic Rhinestone Jewels to finish off this simply stamped card.

Now go and create some artwork of your very own – one stamp at a time!
