more color mondays – misty moonlight, moody mauve and crumb cake

Today’s More Color Mondays color challenge is all about the Majestic M fun fold using the new Wildly Flowering Designer Series paper. This
12″ x 12″ Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper featuring subtly flowered papers in hues of Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Misty Moonlight, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat colors. The background of these papers looks like fabric woven threads.
This Majestic M fold is a cool fun fold that looks as beautiful closed as it does open!

Measurements:
Base: Crumb Cake 5 1/2″ x 8″
scored at 1 5/8″, 1 7/8″, 3 3/4″, 4 1/4″, 6 1/8″
and 6 3/8″
Crumb Cake: (2) 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″
(1) 3/8″ x 5 1/4″
scrap for die cut stems
DSP: (2) 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″
(2) 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White scrap for circle die cut
Misty Moonlight scrap for die flowers

Fold the 2 middle score lines into mountain folds.
Fold the four outside score lines into valley folds.
Fold the outside folds inward.
Adhere the (2) 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of DSP onto the outside panels.
Using the Layered Florals 3D embossing emboss the (2) Crumb Cake 1 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ pieces and the 1 Crumb Cake 3/8″ piece.
Adhere the embossed layers on the inside of the card on the two outer panels and the middle thin panels.
Adhere the (2) pieces of 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ DSPto the panels on either side of the 3/8″ piece of Crumb Cake.
Stamp a sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Misty Moonlight onto a Basic White die cut from the Spotlight on Nature circle die.
Die cut the stems from the Stippled Roses dies in Crumb Cake and the flowers in Misty Moonlight card stock.
Adhere them onto the circle die cut.
Adhere the circle to the center panel only.
This is what the Majestic Fun fold looks like open – if you close the outside wings of the card under the circle die it keeps the panels closed.
I decorated the finished card with Basic Rhinestone Gems.

This is a super easy fun fold that stands when open and lovely when closed.

Here is a version with the Adventurous Sky suite.
I love this fun fold – it is beautiful and fun!

Now go and try this fun fold – create some art work of your very own – one stamp at a time!

Happy Stampin’

Using Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends color the leaves.

Color the stems in Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends.
Color the raspberries in Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends.
Fold the base at the 1 1/4″ score line towards the right, fold the score line at 4″ back to the left, fold the 6 3/4″ score line to the right.
Adhere the 4″ square to the 4th panel.
Adhere a 2 1/2″ x 4″ Basic White piece of cardstock to the third panel.

Adhere the (2) 1 1/4″ x 4″ pieces of Subtles DSP to each side of the first panel.
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the raspberries above the words.
Adhere the Basic White layer to the Berry Burst layer. Adhere the Berry Burst layer to Soft Sea Foam layer.
Adhere the triple sentiment layer to the middle of the outside of panel one.
This is why this card is called the M-Fold.
This is a sweet fun fold! Add some embellishments on the sentiment piece.
Try this fun fold with your stampin’ supplies and create some art work of your very own – one stamp at a time!
