This bundle and Specialty DSP is on the retiring last chance list. (Brightest Glow Bundle #159552) and the Lights Aglow Specialty DSP (#159535)
Measurements:
Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4″ x 11″
scored at 5 1/2″
Lights Aglow DSP 4″ x 5 1/4″
scrap white for sentiment
Brushed Metallic 3″ square

Adhere DSP to Thick Basic White cardstock.
Run the Brushed Metallic Square through the STampin’ Cut and Emboss using the large dotted circle die from the Labels Aglow die set. If your cutting plates are scratched like mine – no worries place an extra piece of cardstock above the die and below the scratched cutting plate when using foils as they are soft and will pick up the scratches from the plate. Adhere to the top middle of the DSP.
Stamp the Happy New Year sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set and die cut with the smaller circle die from the Labels Aglow. Pop up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to the center of the gold circle.
Tie gold Shimmer Ribbon to the bottom portion of the card front.
Adhere Iridescent Pearls to the card front to finish the card.
Here is the finished card – go check out the Last chance list and get some deals and exiting products before they are gone. Go out and create a little art of your own – one stamp at a time!

adding depth and dimension to designer series paper

adding depth and dimension to designer series paper

Designer Series paper makes a card easy and fast but there is also a fun way to add depth and dimension with various embossing folders.

When you emboss paper there are two sides – the embossed side and the de-bossed side creating two separate looks.

Measurement:
BASE: Cherry Cobbler 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Layer: Basic White CS 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: 3″ x 6″
Distressed Gold Specialty paper: 1/4″ x 12″
Scrap of Basic White CS – for the sentiment

Cut the 6″ x 6″ DSP in half.

Run the 3″ pieces through the Wintry 3D embossing folder. The piece on the left is de-bossed and the piece on the right is embossed.
Each gives a slightly different look.
Stamp the inside sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on the middle upper space of the inside layer. Adhere the Distressed Gold Specialty paper to the lower edge of the inside paper. Adhere the inside layer to the base card.
Adhere the 3″ piece to the center of the card front. Tuck the 1/4″ gold piece to the right side of the 3″ piece. I adhered the left-over piece to the left side of the 3″ piece but I changed my mind and adhered it over the sentiment piece at the end.
Die cut the largest Stylish Shapes banner and stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Brightest Glow stamp set.
Adhere the Brushed Metallic Dots to the DSP.
Try embossing a sample of your own designer series paper – go out and create some art of your own – one stamp at a time!

quick and simple triple panel card using the snowflake specialty paper

quick and simple triple panel card using the snowflake specialty paper

This is my favorite paper in the entire new July to December 2022 mini catalog – the Snowflake 12″ x12″ Specialty Vellum contains 6 sheets 2 of each design including iridescent foiling and white flocking – just stunning!

Adhere the vellum to the Silver foil.
Adhere the Silver Foil piece to the Basic White card base
Using a scrap piece of Basic White CS stamp in Versamark the word Joy from the Brightest Glow stamp set. Pour Silver Embossing powder over the Versamark ink and tap off the excess back into the container of powder.

brightest glow christmas card

brightest glow christmas card

Such a pretty, elegant and simple card – just Stamps, ink and paper – and a little die cutting! The Labels Aglow die set is a unique die set that has a lot of negative space die cutting effects.

Measurements
Base : Basic White CS 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
Real Red CS 4″ x 5 1/4″

Using old washi tape secure the large circle and smaller circle inside one another the smaller circle cuts the center circle out and the larger circle cuts tiny circles around the periphery of the center. I also secured a snowflake die in the lower right hand corner. Run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss making sure that the die cuts the whole way through before removing the washi tape.
Set the die cut Real Red CS on the Basic White base card and line up so that the 1/8″ border is even the entire way around.
Stamp the Joy in the center of the die cut smaller circle.
Adhere Stampin’ Dimensionals large and mini to the edge of the Real Red piece of cardstock.
Adhere the Real Red cardstock with the Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Basic White cardstock base.
Adhere the Festive Pearls to the dot on the J and the end of the word Joy as well as some on the outside of the circle.
Here is the finished card – quick and easy but oh so elegant!
Hope this inspired you to go and create some beautiful and simple artwork of your own – one stamp at a time!
