Well it’s Monday and that means it is time for a color challenge – want to play along go to Facebook at
http://www.Facebook.com/nataliegramley and find today’s post and upload your version of the color challenge in the comments section!
Today’s color challenge features Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather – I personally LOVE this color combo and the set that I am using is called Two Toned Flora it is a two step stamping set.
Two Step Stamping… It simply means using two or more stamps to create one image. Doesn’t matter if it is two, three, eighteen – it’s all two step stamping. This floral set creates an amazing image with depth and dimension to the flower as you add the second stamp.
See photo number one for the difference between the initial stamp and after adding the two step stamp.
First stamp the flower base image with the Highland Heather. Then overlay the second “detailed” flower stamp over the first stamped image and stamp with the darker Gorgeous Grape ink. The effect is stunning! The flower just pops!
