hello irresistible tri fold card

hello irresistible tri fold card

Today’s blog post is a fun fold tri-fold card using the Hello Irresistible On Line Exclusive suite of products. I love this Designer Series paper and so glad that it will still be around for a while!

Measurements:
BASE: Flirty Flamingo 5 1/2″ x 7″
4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
scored at 1″, 4 1/4″ and 7 1/2″ scrap for
sentiment matte and die edging
DSP: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, 3/8″ x 5 1/2″, 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, (2) 3″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White CS : 3″ x 5 1/4, and scrap for
sentiment and for circle die

Score the base at 1″, 4 1/4″ and 7 1/2″.
Adhere the Basic White layer to the middle inside panel and one of the 3″ x 5 1/4″ DSP layers to the right-hand inside panel.
Die cut the linear edging die cut out of Flirty Flamingo scrap and adhere to the inside right edge of the card.
Score the 1″ panel inward and place Tear & Tape generously on the small panel.

Adhere the 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of DSP to the
4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Flirty Flamingo.
Die cut in Basic White the large circle die out of the Hello Irresistible bundle. Adhere to the top of the DSP piece.

Match the left edges of the 4 1/4″ flirty flamingo piece with the left edge of the small first panel of the card base and adhere.
I used the 1 1/2″ piece of Scrap DSP to cover the seam on the card front and the first panel on the inside of the card and adhered the 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ piece of scrap to the Basic White panel on the inside of the card.
I stamped hooray it’s your day on a small deckle circle dies – which are a great set and retiring! I stamped the speckle stamp off once for a lighter tone of the Flirty Flamingo over the words on the sentiment die. I adhered that to a larger deckle circle in Flirty Flamingo cardstock and adhered that to the right-hand panel.
Such a fun fold and easy to make! I added a few brass Butterflies to finish the card!

Try this fold today and create some art of your very own – one stamp at a time!

irresistible, hello window sheet card

irresistible, hello window sheet card

Window Sheets add a transparent layer and lots of depth and dimension to any project and this window sheet card is simple and an easy WOW card!

Measurements:
BASE: Basic White CS 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″ cut on the 5 1/2″ side at
1 1/4″ from card edge to the score and from
3″ from card edge to the score, then cut
along the score line between the 1 1/4″
mark and the 3″ mark
Window Sheet: 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP: 1″ x 4″ and 2 1/4″ x 4″
scrap Basic White CS for die cuts

Score the Basic White CS 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ at 4 1/4″ cut on the 5 1/2″ side at 1 1/4″ from card edge to the score and from 3″ from card edge to the score, then cut along the score line between the 1 1/4″ mark and the 3″ mark. When you fold the card in half this will create two flaps connected at the score line to the card.
Adhere the window sheet to the card front connecting the two flaps. Leave an 1/8″ border around the window sheet.
Adhere the larger DSP piece to the bottom of the card leaving an even white border around the DSP piece. Adhere the top piece in the same manner.
I die cut the long dotted piece out of Basic White CS and attached it to the left side of the card front.
Stamp two large flower in Pool Party and die cut. Stamp the leaves in our returning color Pretty Peacock and die cut.
Adhere the flower to both sides of the window sheet (they will not be an exact match but line them up as close as possible. Adhere the leaves to the inside of the card base so that they show through the window and line up behind the flower image.
Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and die cut as a large banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies set. Pop up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere to the center bottom of the card front.
Open the card and stamp the hello sentiment inbetween the leaf images.
Add Iridescent Pastel Gems to the sentiment piece and ribbon around the top edge of the window sheet and the clever window card is complete!
Make a see through window card today – one stamp at a time!

hello irresistible 3 panel scenic z fold card – new online exclusives start today

hello irresistible 3 panel scenic z fold card – new online exclusives start today

This month starts a brand new program for Stampin’ Up! called Online Exclusives – sometimes waiting for the next new catalog to come out is just not soon enough for brand new stamp sets and collections.
This will be the first of many upcoming Online exclusive products and this one is a great one to start off with!
Today, March 1st, the “Hello Irresistible” Online exclusive products Suite becomes available!
This suite of products includes lovely Designer Series paper in 6 x 6, a stamp set and coordinating dies and Loose Frosted dots in 3 different colors each in three different sizes! Also being released today are Basics 3D Embossing Folders set of 3, another gorgeous gilded foil Specialty 12″ x 12″ DSP, and an alphabet stamp set. Information and order numbers at the end of this post!
The 6 x 6 Hello Irresistible DSP is one of those you hate to cut apart because it makes such a beautiful scene so I created a card that I saw 3 years ago from one of my favorite creative ladies – Rachel T. – thanks for all the years of inspiration you give me and many others!
This card is called a scenic panel card or a 3 panel scenery z fold.

Start with a base card of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and 1 1/2″. crease the card in half like a normal card and then crease at the 1 1/2″ mark in the opposite direction like a typical Z fold card.
Cut the 6″ x 6″ DSP across the top of the pattern to make the paper 6″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall. Cut the paper on the 6″ side into three sections, keeping the sections in order. from the left hand side cut at the 2 3/4″, then 1 1/8″ and then the last one will be 2 1/8″.
Cut a Daffodil Delight at 1 13/16″ x 5 1/4″.
And have extra scrap Daffodil Delight for the die cut embellishment.

Place the 2 1/8″ DSP piece just to the right of the middle score line. Adhere it down with liquid glue to give you a little wiggle room to straighten it out.
Adhere the 1 1/8″ about 1/8″ to the left of of the 4 1/4″ score line.
Place tape on the front flap leaving a 1/4″ border around the outside edge.
Adhere the last DSP piece to the front flap leaving a 1/8″ border around the outside.
Adhere the colored cardstock to the right side leaving a 1/8″ border all around.
Stamp the hello sentiment and the smaller flower in Flirty Flamingo ink from the Hello, Irresistible stamp set.
Adhere Loose Frosted Dots to the card.
Adhere the die cut to the front flap.
I think this DSP paper is great used for scenic landscape use.
Below are some other samples using this lovely Designer Series paper. This paper and stamp bundle are online exclusives starting today!
Hope you like the card – now it is your turn to create your own art – one stamp at a time!
