last day of sale-a-bration gate fold pop out version card

I’ve done a few gate folds before but the great part about this fun fold is it’s versatility. I’ve seen this fold in many places but most recently fellow demonstrator Lisa C showed this on her blog. Today is the last day of sale-a-bration! Just a few more hours to earn free merchandise. Love it all – we are running a Starter kit special ($125 in merchandise for $99 PLUS two additional stamp sets of your choice!)
expires at 11:59pm today February 28th, 2022. You can access the join button from this web page or at my Stampin’ Up! webpage at https://nataliestamps.stampinup.net

Sunshine and Rainbows DSP

Basic White (need 2) 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

Gather and cut and score all necessary pieces, using different designs for the different sections.

Score the base cardstock
On the two Basic White pieces stamp sentiment and designs.
Mount DSP and Basic White CS pieces to the corresponding mat pieces (will be 1/4″ larger)
Adhere outside panels to the gate fold card front.
Adhere inside panels
outside panels are the DSP
inside panels are the Basic White
center panel is the smallest DSP panel
Decide what image (stamped or die cut) that you would like for the pop out. I choose the large four piece rainbow and cut it down to fit – drawing the cut lines with a pencil.
I adhered the rainbow to the center panel only with Stampin’ Dimensionals placing the cut side on the right sided score line.
Take the 1/2″ x 11″ strip and loosely wrap it around the outside of the card to make a belly band using a cloud punch to close the two ends.
Using the same colors as the DSP, I colored some scrap white cardstock and die cut the smaller rainbow die where the cardstock was colored. I adhered those die cuts to the belly band on the left side and the cloud on the right side.
The Rhinestones in the new Waves of the Ocean suite – available tomorrow – are a perfect compliment for the coloring on this card!
I added another cloud punch and a sentiment to the front and moved one of the rhinestone wave basic jewels to that new cloud and voila a cute pop out gate fold!

Hope this inspires you to try a new fun fold or just to create some art of your own!

Happy Stampin’

Natalie
