Floating Elements Technique is an easy and stunning one! All you need is a window sheet, some colored cardstock strips, and Stampin’ Seal+.
Collect strips of colored cardstock cut 1/2″ strips and pick a die for the card.
Adhere the strips onto a piece of window sheet, leaving space in between each strip.
Pick a die and using a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine cut the window sheet run the die through several times as you are cutting through multiple layers. Stamp a sentiment before popping up the floating element onto the card.
Using Foam Adhesive Strips (#141825) only on the backside of the cardstock strips so you will not see them when the die cut is adhered.
Basic White cardstock measuring 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″, to add depth and texture to the card front with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a focal die cut Butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies.
Adhere the Floating Element onto the center of the card, adhere the Black die cut Butterfly atop the Floating Element.

The floating element is popped up and the colored strips seem to float.

Hope you try this technique – go and create art one step at a time.

Happy Stampin’
