This is a Z-Fold card – this fun fold card is a great way to showcase this awesome DSP! This would make a great wedding card or anniversary card!
This is a Z-Fold card – this fun fold card is a great way to showcase this awesome DSP! This would make a great wedding card or anniversary card!
Measurements:
* Petal Pink cardstock (#146985) 2 pieces
4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″
1 1/2″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″
* Peony garden DSP (#152483) 2 pieces
2 1/2″ x 4″ in one pattern
5 1/4″ x 4″ in a complimentary pattern
* Basic White Cardstock (#159276) scrap for the sentiment of choice
Take your bone folder and score all of the score lines on the petal pink cardstock. I make two extra score marks 3/8″ from the outside of both sides of the front panel for a little decoration. (these decor score lines I did not crease)
Adhere the smaller DSP piece to the front panel.
Adhere the larger DSP piece to the inside of the card.
Fold the 1 1/2″ cardstock piece with the score lines on the right hand side of the card. Adhere the smallest section so that the two outside edges are flush with one another. (see photo below)
I put two strips of adhesive over the smaller front panel where the 1 1/2″ piece will lie. Fold the base card and then close the 1 1/2″ piece down over the front panel adhering it to the card front piece as shown in the photo below.
Stampin’ Sponges are retiring – I am sad to see them go as I sponge things all the time – while I LOVE the new Blending Brushes – I will miss the Stampin’ Sponges for this particular application! I stamped the sentiment from the retiring So Sentimental stamp set (#151691) in Smoky Slate ink (#147118) and sponged the edges of the Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690) with Petal Pink ink (#147108). I used a Full Wide Stampin’ Case (#127551) also retiring to house my stampin’ Sponges in each of the Stampin’ Up! colors!
I stamped the sentiment from the retiring So Sentimental stamp set (#151691) in Smoky Slate ink (#147118) and sponged the edges of the Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690) with Petal Pink ink (#147108). Adhere the sentiment die cut to the card front add some Pastel Pearls (#154571) as an embellishment and Voila! a beautiful fun fold card!
