This technique is called Cut, Stack, and Shuffle! Thanks to my upline Denise W. for sharing this original idea that she got from Candy R. This is another great idea for easy cards using designer series paper. One of the fabulous things about designer series paper that Stampin’ Up! produces is that the entire pack of paper usually coordinates with other pieces of Designer Series Paper.
Measurements:
4 cards of colored cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
scored at 4 1/4″
4 pieces of 4 different patterns of DSP –
4″ x 5 1/4″
scrap cardstock in coordinating colors
scrap pieces of Basic White

The other side of the Pattern Party hostess
DSP is Black and White and presents a totally different look for the cards.

Place all four pieces of DSP stacked on one another and cut at 2 3/4″ along the 4″ side
Take the larger piece and cut at 3″ along the
5 1/4″ side.
5 1/4″ side.
Cut the smaller section at 2″.
Make four piles of the 2 3/4″ x 3″.
Shuffle the 1 1/4″ pieces starting with the second pile and place beside the other piece.
Take the 3 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ pieces and start at the third pile and shuffle all four pieces.
Take the last pieces and starting with the fourth pile shuffle.
These are two ways to shuffle the same pieces. Notice how just shuffling the same pieces make the design look totally different.
Adhere the four pieces to the base card of Flirty Flamingo
Decorate the cards with the sentiments and embellishments to complete the cards.
Here are two samples.
Here are all four samples of the shuffled cards.
If you turn over the DSP to the black and white side, the cards take on a different tone!
Love this technique and it is so easy to create pretty cards.
Hope this inspires you to create some beautiful and easy cards. Go and create some art – one stamp at a time.
